Alf are London based. Their four albums weave and change, sticking to their "concept" philosophy. Check out their repertoire on (expired link) or iTunes and let the music speak for itself. The fresh new album is called “Suicide Is The Last Thing On My Mind” The albums' primary instrument is the guitar alongside the bittersweet voice of Christine. It's an acoustic based sound through a hazy lazy breeze of summer tunes and autumnal comedown tracks. “Suicide is the Last Thing on My Mind” was written by a slimmed down ALF and is focused on the song writing and playing of Nick Chamberlain-Hunt and Christine Ann Leach. This album broke with their signature style of Nicks' studio jams of dub based electronica, primarily because they bought themselves some new acoustic guitars off Ebay (6) that heavily influenced this collection of songs, embellished with the help of their eclectic collection of musician friends.
ALF began as the studio project of Nick Chamberlain-Hunt, a musician with a wide background from being a bass player with cult new romantic band Neu Electric on the now collectable Some Bizarre Records to live dub mixer for Baby Fox.
His debut album "ALF" revolved around a rotation of friends and associated bands that gigged and jammed together. This set up continued successfully through two more albums "Alongside Frank" and "Caju
