Music with stunning lyrics

The song starts of with engaging stratocaster sound and smooth piano accompanying who together playing the main role on this recording inserting of virtuos solo parts. This is an extra factor what makes the song engaging for me. The intro sounds like a story. Zap has a great talent to give an account in words about someone or something, including all the relevant characteristics, qualities, or events. The arrangement sounds definitely professional although of sparse instrumentation. I like the easy mood of the track. Good mixed and overall well mastered. It´s a quintessence of alternative rock in style with pop elements. Ambitious composition and good recording. The band managed to create an exceptional sounding track. It´s original and I´m sure, you will like to add him. Let others know your recommedation.

sounds nice

No doubt about it that you guys make a good band with good musicians that know their trade. In this song the instruments sound really nice and the voice is also really good. You are fit for eachother, as a way of speaking. Adore the piano-playing btw. But. You lack on composition I think. You can have the best musicians in the world... but the song needs to be written first :You should try to build up your composition a little more rationally; be a little more lucid. That way, you can create a song... that might strike people " like a hit". Anyway. Really curious for more of your songs. Keep writing

hi there Zap & the Wires

Hi there guys, here I am to give my personal opinion about your song. Lovely song, it is a great music production, a pop rock ballad song with a lot feelings inside, first of all, the main voice is very nice, lovely voice, the guitars riffs and the piano parts are very well executed and they go really great with the song. The bass line and the drums great together, beautiful lyrics as well, just a fantastic music production and I wish you all the very best, congratulations guys, many greetings from Germany, Alfredo from King Mambo

It's cool.. for the first three and a half minutes.. then (hope I still get the coins.. I'm out???? but the refrain gets repetitive. Liven it up with a brighter 2nd chorus and I'll chip in another star and a half! Keep rockin'.. and PEACE in Jesus Christ.

Listened to your track this morning while having a nice cup of Joe and took me to a magical place. Amazing track reminscent of Styx and Yes with a Caribbean flair. The solos in this track stand out and make for quite an enjoyable listen. I love how Fair wind also keeps a singer-songwriter edge and captures the hooks well too! Produced and blended as well as my cup of Joe, more people should listen to your track and remember the great trips of their life while they are quarantined in their homes making coffee. Fans of Jimmy Buffett, Phish, and Roxy Music should crank this track.

The music is nice, and I like it. I think it does have that down to earth vibe to it. I like this one a lot, and you're on your way to getting an award somewhere . Keep producing beat work like this I love the lead guitar, and keep your touch on it. This is unique and original. I think this is a hit for sure. Nice one! By the music you can tell that you are passionate about your work as every artist should be. Never give up and dreams and bigger things will follow! Maybe we can collab one day! PEACE!

Great introduction, going somewhere, Everything is here, but the vocals seem stiff. I'd like to see a little looser approach, like Jimmy Buffet or Pablo Cruise, lyrics were descriptive, playful, could have been stronger, every rhyme was anticipated. Take a look at Townes Van Zandt, Tom Waits, and watch how they turn a phrase or even John Hiatt, I hoped for more island jargon peppered throughout much like Jamaica Farewell. The instrumental work was good, guitar soloing: solid, keyboard interaction, solid, it all felt natural, and well balanced interplay, the drums seemed stiff as if programmed. I felt that held the track back. The bass was there but nothing that stood out. They played it very safe, a run or something that popped out would be quite effective. The lead vocal was in key, but the lead I felt needed more passion. This piece wants to move, or swing. Right now it just stays on the beat. Percussion could be easily added and stronger backups to push the melody line. The recording and mastering was good. I think this song may be covered by another artist that will cause it to subtly sizzle and move. Check out Loggins and Messina island music and look what they did with a few chords. It is all here to make it pop. Overall good work.

The cover of this song is particular as the fusion of different kind of music, from country to 70s disco music. Your sound has a personal style and this is a very important thing. The piano is very well played.

From the very first moment I was captivated and enchanted and it just flowed so beautifully through out the song. Love that guitar solo and keys. Nice backing vocals. While I was surprised it was over 6 minutes it just rolled along so beautifully. Great production. Really enjoyed your song! Well done!

Melancholic nice rythmic song that grows on you!

I liked the song already from the beautiful intro with strings, The voices, almost like a sensibel choir is sensibel and rhytmic. The guitar fits in perfectly and creates a time for reflection in the middle of the song and for me, it´s an important part of the song. The song itself reminds me of a mix between early Moody Blues and Pink Floyd, with ingredienses of Camel as well as some early Genesis song. The fading out piano is also good. With some work with the sound of the voices, why not men and one female voice. This IS a good song with so much potential and small additions could make even stronger BUT congrats! I wish you all he best and this melancholy song wouuld be perfect in a convert hall!

Hello how are you ? I hope it's ok. I want to congratulate you on a good job. In general The instruments are well executed, The melody is nice Although as you mention If it is something long, what makes it a bit monotonous. The sound of the guitar is heard with many medium frequencies. the mix is not all good, but you can tell the talent of each one. Keep working. Happiness to everyone.

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the piano and guitar work. Vocals are smooth. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

This is nice song good for life performance but Music Publishers have a Different approach ..First They are looking for a Radio Ready Recordings Quality.. and If They listen.. You have max 10 sec to catch Theirs Ears..and They will NOT listen over 6 min song.. so If I be You I will make It shorter app 3 min long.. Main Radio stations Very Rear play longer songs..( for commercial reason )..but try some Collage Stations I Think They will play It..I wish You good luck with submissions..

Yes You are right The Song is too long,,Radio Stations play max 3.5 min and to "catch the ear" of music Publisher You have only 10 sec ..they are many ways to make It shorter yes on life concert play as long as possible but for commercial use is way to long also need some work on vocal ( some notes are off the tune ) if I be You I will make shorter version and after all work is done I will try to send to someone..You have a nice Melody so work on It.. I wish You good luck.. Good Job so far..
