Nice TranceLove the ARP melody and the overall sound. nice buildup and deep athmosphere. keep it on. maybe ta bit to much ludness and fatness to my ears...maybe u would reduce by -2 db overall? greeting scentox
SakuraWith this track "Sakura" Yukinobu Shimoo has created another lovely soundscape, well crafted and built up with well a lot of well matching layers, The synth layers are drawing you in making you wait for the drop, which comes at the right time to whisk you away with the thumping beats , which carry you nicely along until the next break , which does serve to add some musical tension , making the release all the sweeter, nice one !!
goodyour piece is simply beautiful. from how it evolves the music catches you by surprise and is a pleasant surprise. also the closure of the piece completes the pleasant atmosphere you have created ..
Symphonic Trance and electronica music.Yukinobu has with his track SAKURA made a very symphonic and melodic track with a lot of dynamic. A good piano lead melodi on a special trancebeat followed by a lot of synth trance efects.
A bit harder than a cherry blossom petal...Remember the name Yukinobu Shimoo. It should be a household name by now, but for unseen reasons, still wafts in obscurity. This song denotes a little harder events than what is proffered by the artist; finding this much heavier than a delicate shaking of a cherry blossom petal. More like a windswept vacuous landscape, flying over the terrain at breakneck speed, with sudden and gradual turns as well. A perfectly synched arpeggio drives this electro genre blender and it is mesmerizing while at once exhilarating. Seems to be broken down into sections of immersive waves, that parlay into each other into a yet to be discovered blissful universe. It's a little heavy on the digital wind sweeps, which I tend to cringe away from, only because they seem so cheesy on top of something so eloquent. Maybe a wash here and there and the song would bleed a perfect 5. Well done!
LovelyVery engaging, quite classical. Would suit a film score. The piano drives throughout. Uplifting and trance like. Great introduction of drums, fine production. Tbh I really get the idea. Not for me though. It’s woryh a listen. Just not my thing. Peace!
The new Carol of the BellsOne of the best things I have listened here, great intro, great mix, a big spectrum of colors in the arrangement. I wish you the best, I think you got the talent to get to the top of the list Congrats!
Shimoo's tranceTrance and techno styles with lot of melody. Not the ultimate EDM feeling, even with a typical "squashed" master, just because Shimoo add lot of variations and melodies, demonstrating their undoubtful musical skills. It's a pleasure to hear the song from start to finish while the electronic piano and the guitar bring you round and round. It's nice to find artists like Shimoo on Number One music network!
Trance TimeInteresting organic introduction starts off this interestingly composed song. The composition builds well with new and sonically complementary elements combing to create a soundscape that includes percussive stereo elements. The breakdown is also well executed. The verse reintroduction brings in a trance themed synth that drives the composition towards its ultimate conclusion of a piano-based outro that reverts a piano arpeggio. The mix and arrangement are all well done. Excellent work.
ReviewNo doubt 'Sakura' is a beautifully played and produced track from a talented musician. The opening is filmic and continues that way throughout.Rather than a straight up trance track i would call it a nice piece of melodic electronica with a trance element to beef up the ending a little. A pleasant ride all the same. Nice work Yuki!
Musically dynamicHas an interesting spiraling rhythm that opens to long strings and a thumping beat. Definitely an interesting song that makes a lot of use of rhythm, as well as waves of sound. I like the effect on the drum sound. Hearing the lower keys mirror the higher synth keys is cool since they are slightly staggered. The only thing I can think of to keep in mind is that during some of the more melodic parts, it may be harder for people to dance. Sounds great!
Absolutely Beautiful!Yukinobu is an unbelievable keyboardist that brings a beautiful element to his music, including this track, Sakura. It is definitely Trance because of the uplifting melody it provides. Very euphoric synths! The man definitely deserves to be on a record label! Well done Yukinobu!
mixture trancenice tunes, nicely evolving. the kick in is a bit unusual, the drums are not very thought through a bit in draft. especially the sound of it so they might need some more work to sound better. then the switch in the middle not really connected to the previous, but I can consider it as a mix. Not sure why I am reviewing as I am not into the trance music :) so probabbly would not like it anyway. anyway the second half drums are much better - however the tunes are not so well made. So a suggestion - use the second drums witht ehfirst tunes, and make a new song evolve from these sounds forward. That would probably work perfect :)
A Review of ‘SAKURA’—‘ Yukinobu Shimoo’It seems that Yukinobu does not care about blending different ideas or styles of music in a single track. The opening begins with an Oriental feel and instrumentation up until 01:41. Then it turns to a kind of semi-Rock tune at 03:00 and continues by Oriental sounds mixed through a type of Electronic form up to 04:14. This then transforms to a Trance-like pattern till 06:48. And finally a brief ending like an ambient music finalises the track. To look at them individually, each of them sounds good. However, for a better result, probably Yukinobu should employ only one style of music in a single track.
