Bio of the Artist
“World Divine” was originally formed by Diaz (vox/guitar), R. Michael (bass) and Jeremy Senger (drums) as a "power trio". All three members are seasoned veterans of the central Illinois music scene. Feeling something was missing from the puzzle the band has recently added keyboardist B. Brimm to add the final dimension to their dark orchestrated sound. Their main goal - to create a sound that is different from the ever growing "Midwest" original band community that is somewhat cliche' of the area.

Most listeners categorize World Divine's music as "Black Metal". Often, their music has been compared to the likes of black metal bands such as Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir. While it's true that Black Metal is a "staple" in the foundation of World Divine's music, many other influences come in to play in the creation of each song. This combination of influences spawns a truly new breed of "metal" in the form of Progressive Melodic Black/Death.

“World Divine’s” wide range of influences can be heard throughout their music while the band maintains a dark, sometimes melodic, unsettling presence in all of their musical creations. With lyrics that depict stories of torment, chaos and horror based themes, the band is sure to leave you with an unsettling feeling deep within your soul. A feeling that we are not alone in this world and that what lurks ahead may just be that of terror, darkness and dismay.

Diaz - “Cast out of heaven for my evil ways a fallen angel of tremendous might is fighting for the powers of heaven. Condemned to this “hell” you call life. Destined to be my world.........a “World Divine”.”
