Nice Intro. Has a salsa feel to it to me, Jazzy too. The beat is deifferent, I like the hook. Its alot going on with this song, constant changes. Overall good song, Good Job and Good Luck. You sound Like Kid Cudi when you first came on mixed with a little pit bull. I think that you have potential. but the beat and the overall way of this was like put together. I would say this this is great party music to get funky down with to each its own.

I see that your taking some chances; which I commend you for..but the rhyming sucks and doesn't mix well, and your parts need a better sense of nuance and arrangement.

Review of "Pickup"

Interesting song. Should go places. The first part between 00:00 to 00:42, is an unusual beginning which gets your attention, the male voice is blurred, cannot understand the lyrics at all. The female voices ending at 01:34 are good. A foot tapper. Good luck! ;) 02:35 same problem with the male voices.

Review of "Pickup"

If, by "Pickup," you mean pickup lines, like when a guy tries to "pick up" a woman with clever verbal approaches, then the different sounds in the song make perfect musical sense, because they represent the different approaches the guy is taking to get the girl. We must always consider the title of a song in our review of it. Now, I'm not sure what the artist intended by the title, but if I am correct in my thoughts here, then this is certainly NOT a bunch of disconnected threads. I hope I am right. That being said, the music is catchy, the rhythm has a Spanish dance movement to it, and altogether I enjoyed listening to it.

pickaxe

a lot of different elements makes for interesting ear candy but as a song it falls short just no direction decent recording job not sure what to make of this hodgepodge of ideas? recording is a very upper midrangy could use smoothness around the edges
