Twinchild Edozie born Edozie Emmanuel Ugwunze is a Nigerian South African based Singer, Songwriter and Actor. He hails from Ovoko in Igbo-Eze South LGA of Enugu State, Nigeria. He was born twins and 5th in the family of 8.

He started writing songs and singing in his teenage days, exploring various genre of music from gospel, hip hop, to Afro beats, pop, rock, highlife, and gyration.

Started his stage performance in University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in 2003 with his first mixtape "Make We Go", produced by Z-Ray. In 2006/2007 he released singles "We Are The Ones" and "Bend Down Low" all produced by Ony. He is renowned for his great lyrical, rhyming and vocal power that embodied poetic lines.

He recorded his first duet song with Great Son in 2007 titled "Make It Roll" produced by Engr. Ony.

After which he took a break from music to pursue his career on Information and Communication Technology but his love for music kept coming in between him and his new career that in 2015 he released another single "Gi Bu Nkem" which was produced by Joe Pee. The single topped charts in some radio stations in the country (especially in the eastern part) among them were Radio Nigeria Voice 96.7fm, Nsukka, Trend 100.9fm, Asaba etc. The song consequently earned him shows and gigs around the country and subsequently returned him into the music world.

This hit track is brewed with concept that blends Igbo, Yoruba and English into highlife and AfroRnB to produce an exceptional new genre of music. The result is something you really need to feel with the sensational lyrics to make you wants to fall.

Following his relocating to South Africa on a request of South African music group in 2017 for a remix to his single “Gi Bu Nkem”, he released his debut album titled “New Dawn”. The 15 tracks album was released on the 1st of October 2018 in all digital platform and has recorded a great success in Nigeria, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States and other parts of the world.

From 2017 till date he has performed in several gigs, shows and clubs around South Africa. He is also known for his electrifying and eccentric stage performance.
