From a land far far away called Trenton,Nj on September 23, 1988 was born a mystical Emcee by the name of Roger Hayban who would later acquire the name Trini Elev8. Besides his mother singing hymns from the bible to him,Roger was emerged in music of all different kinds from hip-hop,rock,pop,r&b,reggaeton and being that his family is from the island of Trinidad and Tobago located rite off of the coast of Venezuela he was introduced to such genres like soca,calypso, and chutney.On top of having roots in so many different styles and categories of music,when he was in middle school he played such instruments as the violin and flute which would be the start of an amazing journey.At the tender age of 12 his parents split up due to his fathers alcoholism and abusive tendencies towards his mother, which you will hear him spit about frequently in his songs.That was the recipe for a very rebellious and undisciplined young man.Trini stopped being involved with music and the band when he left elementary school because he started seeing it as “lame” and wanted to play sports like the other “cool” kids at school.At the age of 13 he would start freestyle battle rapping at lunch time with the guys outside just for kicks.”It wasn’t something I really took serious at the time” says Trini.As he got older he started writing and formulating songs based on the things what where going on in his neighborhood and personal life.Even though he was listening to “gangsta rap” Trini always ended up writing music that reflected the way he thinks and feels as opposed to what just sounds cool and what he knows people like to hear.His art is original and sacred,it touches the deepest depths of every being who is in the presence of his spiritually elevated soundtracks to life.Trini left New Jersey in 2011 and moved to the sunny state of Florida where the culture of art flourishes.Trini says ”It’s not that Jersey didn’t have a music scene It’s just that down here in Florida the conscious hip-hop music scene is quite radiant and gives me more of a platform to share and spread my craft with the minds of our generation.” This man changes the frequency of the entire planet with his universal ritualistic creative tunes.You can feel the vibrations in the depths of your consciousness and literally hear the ancestors chanting melodic tones inside your brain all at the same time being entertained and related too.He composes most of his own amazing beats but no matter what instrumental he does he laces the track with awe inspiring lyrics mixed with unmatched skill and technique.To compliment his awesome tracks his live performances are equal to a visit from the higher realms existence, in other words they are superbly fucking dope!!!
