Top o' the mornin to all 1,020 of you worldwide wonderful folks. It's kinda like going into Mr. Dress-up's tickle trunk. (Google that one. lol); something new and exciting each time. lol I'm still trying to see through the fog of the last 2 week's excitement to tell you about. To start with, because of you folks, the number of listens on my N1M site crossed over into strange territory for me yesterday: 3,000,000 listens. Wowzers, how could I be so fortunate? If that was enough to blow my socks off, I found out at the start of last week that all of you were responsible for one of my songs, A Little Further Down the Line, to be nominated for "Southern Gospel Song of the Year" Covenant Awards at the GMA (Gospel Music Association). The winners will be announced at the January awards banquet in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I am truly dumbfounded, humbled, but very much excited just to be nominated. Who but God knows where this will go? If I may, I would like to ask all of you if any of you have tried to purchase any of my tunes or CD's. The reason I ask is because I have had them for sale since I started, but there doesn't seem to be anything happening. It is not that I am upset or anything like that. It's just that, with all the positive comments you have sent to me since March, I haven't had any feed-back that the purchase mechanism doesn't work. I have introduced some Christmas tunes, a couple of new clean country tunes, and a couple of new gospel tunes into the line up. God keeps sharing His heart with me and I just keep writing 'em down. I still haven't been able to get out and tour yet, but I do have a show coming up at the Anthem lounge in Edmonton on October 18th, at 19:40. I am pretty excited about that. The time for my show has been nailed down to 19:40, so if any of you would like to come out for a great evening, you can find tickets at the following website: https://myafton.com/TrevorToews Regarding home life, etc., I am going in for the other carpal tunnel release operation on October 24th so if any of you prayer warriors out there can squeeze this request on to your victory list, I would greatly appreciate it. :) My biggest concern would be that neither I or the doc has a sneezing bout while the operation is going on. lol As always, the greatest focus in my heart regarding my tunes is that hearts are touched, healed, restored, and encouraged by God Himself as folks listen to them. If I can make a few sheckles for new equipment, etc., that would just be icing on the cake as the saying goes. I have definitely appreciated the emails that you folks have sent me over the year. It is so very heart-warming and encouraging to me to hear what the Lord is doing in your lives. I pray for all of my wonderful subscribers, and those who recommend my tunes, daily as I open up my site and see what is going on. My dear wife will usually say something like I'm addicted to this, but it is so exciting to see and hear what God has been doing in your lives. If I may, I would also like to share an encouragement to be into God's written Word daily. The other day, the Lord gave me the impression that I should read through II Timothy 4 again. In it I found the encouragement to get into, and share, the Word of God because in the end days many people will depart from the truth of God; turning to fables and "nice stories" to base their lives on. Scary and sad. I pray that the Lord God of heaven would touch you, bless you, and guide you through these next couple of weeks into a place of victory in every aspect of your lives. If you have been experiencing a shake-up in your lives it just may be me lifting you up to the Father; asking Him to draw you much much closer to Himself, and further away from the things that are meant to hurt you.
