What to Do After a Miracle

Hi again to all 1436 of you totally life-changing friends and supporters. Well, although the tsunami wave of support that you have created, which has carried me so far so fast, now resembles a regular - but impressive - ocean wave, a thought came to me the other day. I got thinking of what Mary (the mother of Jesus) did after Jesus was born. After all, she experienced what is considered to be the most powerful uncomparable miracle of all times. She was chosen to bear the Son of God in mortal form. Sorry gals, but my level of pain tolerance doesn't allow me to think that this would have been a miracle that I would have chosen to occur in my life. ;) Ouch. There was the star, the shepherds, the angels, and around 2 years later there were the Magi that came bearing rich presents in Nazareth. So, the miracle was over, and all the excitement had died down; except for maybe about 31 years later. ;) After Mary received this miracle, what did she do? Hmmmmm. Did she go looking for another miracle one? . . . . no. Did she set up an internet website and address so that people could send in money to keep the awareness of the miracle alive? . . . . no. Mary just kept on with her life, while all the time keeping these events in her heart. She still kept the house, took care of Joseph, probably took care of some of the flocks, made clothing for the family . . . WHOOOA . . . for the FAMILY? That's right. Mary had more children, common non-miraculous children, in the midst of her hourly daily weekly monthly yearly chores through-out her life. She could have said such things as, "There ain't no way that a regular child will ever occupy the same space that the Son of God occupied for 9 months. This is a 'holy' place." Lahteedah She could have posted a sign outside their home, indicating that "Here lives the mother of God," and charged a couple of shekels per tour, but she didn't. Mary recognized the importance of the miracle, but she also knew the importance of managing the mundane of each day after the excitement of the miracle had passed. We all have people around us who depend on our faithfulness to the duties of the daily grind. Life is going well. Oh, I do have some great news. It is only one so far, but I just found out that a song on my new website, "Wrapped Up in Love," sold today for the first time. So, after the excitement of this singular miracle, I still have to go out and shovel the snow and take out the garbage. lol May the Lord bless you all richly, and keep you faithful, in all of your exciting and mundane activities until the next e-shout, Trev :)

 :scream: :smirk:  :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :rage: :disappointed: :sob: :kissing_heart:  :pensive: :confounded: :flushed: :relaxed: :mask:  :broken_heart: :expressionless:  :weary: :triumph:  :sleepy:
