Last Carpal Tunnel Operation

Yee haaa Hello again to all my crazy type like fans; 1065 and counting. You are so awesome. As per the title of this eshout, I just went through my last carpal tunnel operation yesterday. I feel quite well considering. I can't quite remember if I mentioned this on the last communique or not, but one of my songs, "A Little Further Down the Line," was nominated as The Best Southern Gospel Song of the Year for the Gospel Music Association's Covenant Awards in January. I still feel a combination of excited but intimidated to be included in the crowd of the awesome performers/bands that are also represented by their nominations. If I didn't know Father God as I do, sometimes I feel that God is truly crazy to be doing the kinds of things that He is doing with me. In any case, I am truly enjoying this ride, and I am striving to be a responsible son of His, while still unleashing my sometimes crazy sense of humour. I think I may have mentioned this next bit of excitement, but I was booked to perform at a show on October 18 here in Edmonton; at a lounge of all places. Well, I had a blast, and it appeared that the others there did as well. They must have because I was invited back there. YES, little ol' me. I have another show at the Anthem Lounge on November 30. Crazy, crazy, crazy I say. What a ride. LOL I am sure hoping that there is somebody out there who needs to hear this because I am compelled to share something to you awesome folks in case any of you may be concerned about a next step in your faith walk God. He revealed to me that every new step with God will feel as if we are in peril because we have never been there before. Even if we have walked with Him for decades, each new step can feel dangerous because we have never been there before. So if you are going through one of those scary moments, it will pass once you take that step. :) Even if you end up taking a step in the wrong direction, the Lords will protect you and restore you. Another thing I think I might have learned in the last couple of weeks is that the Lord does promise to protect us; but only when we run to Him for help and protection. Go figure. Some us, like me at times, run around like a cat in front of your feet while you are trying to miss the cat instead of either stopping or getting out of the way. lol I certainly hope that this helps somebody because I hate looking foolish ;) Well, I had an idea for a song about the shepherds who were told by an angel about Jesus' birth but I couldn't put it together until EARLY last night. lol Then I believe that the Lord woke me up with the whole panoramic vision for the song; hence "While Shepherds Watched." Sometimes, during the most menial tasks of our lives, if we just watch what is happening around us, we put ourselves in a place where the Lord can send us something important enough to tell others. Well, may our awesome Lord continue to bless you, protect you, and provide for you until we meet up again,Trev. :)

 :scream: :smirk:  :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :rage: :disappointed: :sob: :kissing_heart:  :pensive: :confounded: :flushed: :relaxed: :mask:  :broken_heart: :expressionless:  :weary: :triumph:  :sleepy:
