Wow! You know..near the beginning I was going to give some bad comments due to the "timid lead" pattern in the very "long-ish" INTRO. But then the main part of the song came in with the GREAT VOCALS and I soon forgot about the intro. {Ha} And then later in the song the "second lead" was so much BETTER, that I decided the first one was done that way "on purpose" rather than just from "lack of ability". {I find my biggest objection to so-called "Modern Rock" is either the LACK of guitar lead, or the TIMID lead...which makes the assumption that a band is "new" and hasn't that ability yet?} Yet YOUR "main lead" pattern was bright and colorful, and fit in like a glove to the rest of the song!

Great lyrics!

I really feel that the "intro being so long" and overall the length of the song being so long...your band being INDIE will work against you getting radio time, but if you produce a "hit selling album {CD}" it could work in your favor. You might consider taking the main part of the song and condensing a "second version" for radio!?

Either way a masterful production! And a "unique, stand-alone" sound for the most part!

Keep on rockin!

Thanks!
This song was actually never intended to be a single of any kind. When I submitted it for review my intentions were to submit the new recording of 'better alone'. I think the system here messed up, or maybe there was an input error on my part. .. but either way i'm happy that people are reviewing this song...

I agree 100% that this song is way to long, and completely unconventional for todays 'oh so conventional' radio play. But i appreciate your comments anyways, and while this song may work in a condensed form... i'd rather keep it true to it's current form, despite the fact that it may never be accepted by radio stations.
