Town Bidness consists of Abdul Kyobe aka Dully & (expired link) (Trauma). The pair
formed Town Bidness releasing their first self entitled project in 2007 and they have been
collaborating ever since. This dynamic rap duo hails from the west coast, currently residing
in Seattle, WA and posses a west coast vibe with a distinct and vibrant sound. Their
creative lyrical content is both animated and descriptive so together they have quite a
refreshing flow to their music. Town Bidness’ musical influences consist of artists such as
Jay-Z, 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Lil Wayne and (expired link).
Town Bidness has been hard at work developing their music library and have recently
worked with several major artists including Soldier Boy, Lazy Bone, Lil Flip, TJ Stokes
and Big Omeezy. Extremely well known Producers such as Zukahn Bey, ChrisPack, DJ
Chill and Riley Urick have all contributed to their current project. One of their latest
singles “Ghetto Booty” featuring Latif is produced by Zukahn Bey and appears on the
“Queen of the Clubs” soundtrack/trailer.
Town Bidness appeared on the red carpet at the 2013 BET Awards and has been
performing live at several clubs throughout the nation opening for artists Lazy Bone at
Studio7 (Seattle, WA), Waka Flacka at Club Tropic (Everett, WA), Twista at Club
Paradise (Yakima, WA), at Club Pyramid in NYC with DJ Absolute, and with Juvenile,
Jim Jones, Lil Flip, E-40, and Too Short just to name a few. Their forthcoming mixtape
“CHECKMATE” is scheduled for release in winter quarter 2013 and features singles such
as “Roll It” featuring Soldier Boy, “Cash Register” featuring Tempo, “Peep My Swag,
“Hey Shawty”, and “Fly Chick” which is currently receiving radio play in Houston on
Magic109fm.
