Wow! A Strong Lead Vocal...with Amazing Background Harmonies...A Passionate Masterpiece!

Helpful

From the very first note of the Lead Vocal...I was "grabbed" and then... I was "held captive"...by amazing harmonies...and caressed by the most delightful instrumentation, and compelling bits of "spoken word"...all wrapped up and tied up in a beautifully harmonic package of vocals... that dazzle and bedazzle...over and over again...till the very last triumphant note! Truly a most Passionate Masterpiece! (And I don't think I've EVER said that about a song in ANY of my many reviews!)

What can I say

Epic song ,one of the best on this site.well done , technically and songwriting wise brilliant, vocals both lead and backing spot on , could do with a instrumental part ,but that's just nit picking nothing more I can say . Peter Brady

MOves along

I would actually categorize this song as country Rock. It's got the hard driving acoustic guitar and vocals with a memorable chorus. If I had a negative I'd say that the song lacks any spaces that really define a great song. The song starts up and full and doesn't really have enough contrast except for the last line of the chorus which does stand out.

The banjo is a nice touch, and the singer has great range, but this song doesn't have much going on musically or lyrically. The lyrics are kind of hokey, and the chord progression is boring.

For melodic rock and pop music lovers!

Tom's song is really beautiful, deserves a better production because it can be known everywhere. The melody is amazing and we imagine this track in all of the world radios. It can please both lovers of melodic rock as pop music. A careful mixdown and master job can bring this song and this artist to the next level.

Muy buena canción

Me ha gustado mucho esta canción. Es de lo mejor que he escuchado por aquí. Muy bien todos los instrumentos y la voz. Bien estructurada. Es uno de los estilos de rock con el que me siento más identificado. Enhorabuena!

Immediately enjoy this one. It has a great opening that catches the listeners interest. And I really enjoy the feel/mood of the sound you created. It also has a cool 90s feel and I like that. Singer sounds good too!

Austrian but american!

Classic american harmony vocal choruses, sung with perfect intonation. The basic pattern of the song, though, is completely digital which is a pity in a way. This one would have earned to be played by a real band without those typical drum computer tom-tom-fills. The song's got potential for sure, and your voice is outstanding good. Try to get a real rhythm section, turn up the volume and let it rock!

Still Singing

This isn't a heavy metal song, as NumberOneMusic has it categorized. I'd actually go so far to say Adult Contemporary. This could be a theme song for a television series on American tv. I love the chorus. The singers vocals, in the beginning I thought were going to implode, but the chorus recovers nicely. I'd like to hear drums more prominently on this, but otherwise, this is a charming song.

Congratulations! A very good song to listen to. The energy she spends is indescribable. All this accompanied by a Rock and a vocal climate well arranged. The guitar is a musical based on keeping all the music expression. The song is very good, as well as a sensational harmony, it has its own identity, that is, is a song that does not look like any other. A very good battery and a sensational dynamics.

This is a beautifully written song with a touch of Nickelback. The song is uplifting with a feel good touch. The chorus has a catchy hook and interesting changes. 'Still here' is a potential hit song! Keep up the good work!

this is a good song, good vocals and back vocals, also lyrics are good. An "happy" groove, maybe sometimes frenetic due to the drum and bass technical exploration, an '80s sound.. Well done Tom!

Perfect Harmonies

As always, great work delivered by Tom TC on the track Still Here - from performance to arrangement and production. The song develops great dynamics in the chorus, and has perfect vocal harmonies. You may consider to add to the Rock classification also Pop, I feel there are crossovers between genres in this song. The only suggestion I can make is to apply a little less de-essing in your production. Fantastic song writing.

Ah, it's my mate that sounds like the singer in peal jam :-) Another great song , I scan through songs to review and it's always a pleasure To find something by you. I love the chorus, very catchy, nice keyboard rif . Great harmony vocals , Acoustic guitar cuts through all the way through the song The bass is a bit busy, but I can live with that, In all a good well recorded and produced song Look forward to hearing more of your songs , Well done

This song starts out simple, with a jangly guitar, but kicks into gear with the vocals. The changes are interesting and not predictable, which is a very good thing. The harmonies are very tight, and the lead vocal is powerful and well-rounded. Nice production and overall sound quality. Professional sounding. All-in-all a very catchy song. I would recommend it. I will recommend it!

Still here by Tom TC...60s rock brought up to date.

"Still here" starts of like a sixties tune. There are chimey guitars, strong rhythm guitar, bass, drums and a single vocal, Soon enough however, it quickly fills in with back up vocals and kybds, short speaking parts, during the hook synthesizers underneath give it a current kind of Nashville influenced sound. Tom has a voice kind of like Neil Diamond but better. The chorus is pretty catchy but I could actually remember it when the song was over...I just knew I had a good time.

Tom TC brings us Still here. I have reviewed his material before and again he doesn't disappoint... a song with verve and spirit that has tracking and mixing that create a great amount of separation and well utilized spacing. The song itself seems to me a bit of a tribute to early Bruce Springsteen with touches of Travis Tritt and perhaps even a touch of Sugar Land in the production of the song. About the only thing missing from this song was a solo... either a guitar or a saxophone or even a Hammond B-III would have been appropriate. I take of .5 pts for no solo... Well done! Lots of energy in the work!
