Hey, I hope you're getting into holiday and celebration mode. I can't believe it's the end of the year already or that I've already been in Tennessee for over 6 months. It still feels strange being away from New York and my loved ones there, but I'm getting some work done in the studio here.

Today I'm finishing mixes of 2 songs from my LiKe BiRdS project and by the end of this week I'll also have at least 1 song ready from my Bongo Metro project.

Originally a demo I posted on N1M. I’ve just replaced that demo recording with this new, finished version of the song. I really hope you'll enjoy it. I’m not releasing this song to any streaming platforms yet. Instead, for the next week, it will be exclusive to N1M, my SoundCloud page, and probably on my YouTube channel. You can download it here for free before it’s official release!

I hope you’re doing well! Spring is springing an I’m beginning a new chapter in my life. I’m excited to tell you that I’m moving to Music City - Nashville, Tennessee!
When I get there I’ll be working on finishing a LiKe BiRdS album with Rich Goldberg. We only got about half finished with the record, in New York. Rich and his wife recently moved to Nashville. They teased me for a year to move down there and how much I’d love living there.
So, I took a trip to see if Nashville is really a good fit for me. I absolutely love it there.
It truly is Music City and the vibe is very cool and kind of laid back. It’s much, much different from New York! I’m gonna have to learn how to slow myself down for sure.
Moving is stressful and I’m going to miss New York and my loved ones here very much. I feel excited, but it’s bittersweet at the same time. It’s kind of scary, like diving from a high diving board, but I look forward to finding new, fun, creative and productive experiences and relationships in my new home.
Realistically, I won’t have the studio back up and running again until June. Recording studios have always been a sanctuary to me for as long as I can remember. Not having my rig for a few months is hard, but getting back to work in the new room will be sweet! There are gigs everywhere m, so I’ll definitely be playing live with LiKe BiRds as well!
Thanks for all your support. It means more than you know. I encourage you to go for what’s important to you. Take risks! Live your life! You are beautiful!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is a day when I just want you to know that Im very thankful for your love and support. I still haven’t finished my album, so I’m sharing a demo of my song, Track Of Time on all of your favorite music platforms.

I chose Track Of Time because time speeds by so fast and I don’t want to forget to say thank you to the people who matter to me. I hope you have a day filled with love, warmth, and happiness. You rock!

Hello my friend!

I hope this finds you happy and well. You've been really kind to me, so I want to give you a sneak peek of a song that I'm finishing up. It's called Track Of Time and it's part of an album I'm working on called, Secret Music.

I'm showing you this song raw, with all it's bumps and bruises. My hope is to give you three minutes of music that comes straight from my heart. Let me know if I'm on the right track!

I've been promising to start releasing new music for months. Today I'm posting an unfinished version of my song, You're Gone. There are bumps and warts here and there, but you'll get a taste of one of the recordings I'm working on. (I hope you'll find it listenable.) Please let me know what you think!

I've been unexpectedly busy with some other projects that I didn't know I'd be doing --

I've started working with some friends on a few of my vintage songs with pop/punk group, The Metros. I was really fortunate to reconnect with The Metros' Chris Marksbury, which led to him inviting me to contribute to one of his songs called, Somehow. I decided to put together an orchestration for it and I wasn't at all sure how he'd react, but he liked it! I really love Chris's music. (Check him out on Soundcloud!) That led to me asking Chris to sing and play his old parts for a Metros song called, Can't Be You. (I posted an unfinished version of, Can't Be You, here a while ago.) A great musician named, Rick Austin played bass guitar and added vocals as well. I have two other Metros songs in the works right now. These songs are mad fun to to produce! Stay tuned!

Another reconnection happened with my band, Like Birds. Co-founding member, Rich Goldberg and I never really stopped writing more songs and playing together, but we recently been getting down to doing some serious work. We're writing way too many songs, but there are worse things to complain about! That wasn't enough, so we started rehearsing a new version of our (6-piece "electric") group. This time we have have Bob Hammerstein playing drums and adding vocals and Rick Austin as new bassist, also adding vocals. John Forsdahl is back with us, on keyboards and Doug Goldberg is back on slide guitar and vocals. Rich and I also have a very cool stripped down, acoustic version of Like Birds that's really kind of magical. The new electric Like Birds configuration sounds HUGE and rocking. There are already two vintage Like Birds recordings posted here on N1M. Stay tuned for audio and video recordings from the ongoing story. I'll keep you posted!

It feels incredible playing with so many of my dearest friends again, in person! I love summertime and it's great to have some freedom again to celebrate life, love, and music together!
