About THE POOH

“You can love us, or make love with us! ” Say the band members of the young ambitious band The Pooh about themselves, since they formed in 2005. The characteristic sound is what defines them precisely, when you hear them on the radio and could be simply described as a fusion of everything you have ever heard in rock music. In addition they yield number of intertexture secrets and gallons of energy, which radiates from them at their live shows.
Pooh's music production consists of the significant flow of negligence, wily wittiness and irony, reflecting the roots of 90's & 80's dirty guitar music scene. In the actual sound of the band you witness huge variety of tunes and links derived from the world most influential bands on the rock and roll scene (Queens of the Stone Age, The Racounters, The Arctic Monkeys), whose basics are intertwined with melancholic melodies by Eleven, Mark Lanegan, or Muse.
Right after recording first EP, The Pooh started to concentrate on playing their live gigs all over the Czech Republic mostly in the clubs and during two years had the number of played shows reached 100 gigs. In that time The Pooh also established close musical relationship with Au
