Song For Miss Ann
Hey Mike, Miss Ann is so blessed to have this composition dedicated to her. Like a song of ascents, it has a story within, and each part speaks of the wonder of Miss Ann and the love she inspires in others. This song speaks to me "No matter what you do or what you say, no matter what I see in you, I want to keep on looking for you inspire me to greater feats of creativity." All music has a message and is intrinsically intended to lift our spirit. When heard I believe every creature that breaths will be lifted by this piece of anointed music. Divine in it's conception and inspiration. It lifted me today to know there is such love in this world. I can't say much more. I cannot find fault with a single note or arrangement of the state of play. Awe inspiring! You have A Burning Great Light of Love in you Mike!

Big Sounds
Nothing like the effective use of a great rock guitar tone lavished in huge delays and reverbs! This is an instrumental, but it feels beautiful with elements of Allman-style licks that careen over the hills and rivers in a never-ending cascade of fullness. The drums and bass are fully supportive in their groove-rockness. My first impulse is to suggest this would be an awesome choice for closing credits for a major motion picture. Great job!

Great piece
The lead part is awesome except the repitition of lead melody exists in many sections of the whole instrumental. The synchronization of music is excellent. It's been a long time I haven't heard of a fantastic superb instrumental part and to me it seems as if I am listening to the chart music. The performer is MVP with broader wide knowledge of music. Technically everyyhing is perfect, except the instrumental seems to need some more other instruments and the recording quality being of top class that this instrumental song will be top chart. Very nice instrumental
Strong melody for the lead guitar really makes this work. Whole thing is well put together. All instrumentation, production, all good. As someone that does rock instrumentals myself I have a great appreciation for something like this, done this well. Great instrumental.

Like the music
I really like the music and the guitar work is great. Was waiting for the vocal to start and realized it was an instrumental. Think it would sound great with good lyrics and a strong vocal.

simple and easy stuff
I like the simplicity of the song nice rhythm track and the lead is very nicely done. I would really like to hear some vocals on it though I think it has a commercial sound and with the right words and vocal line similar to the guitar lines this could be a more accessible song. Good job.

Fine Guitar
Very nice and smooth guitar playing with a good melody line. One can feel the emotions that you put into it. I could easily imagine this song with lyrics and a singer like Joe Cocker or Rod Stewart. Keep them comin', bro!

An instrumental lullaby
Mike Derhamer brings us Song for Miss Ann, an instrumental ballad of the southern rock variety. From a listener''s perspective this has all those lighter holding requisites for a concert level song. In all actuality it sounds very much like one of my own creations, but not to worry, I won't send any lawyers your way. From a producer's perspective, like many artist's this one did not master the song up to broadcasting level. There is also no break to a refrain that could have produced a more qualified listen for review. Its good, but it could have been better.
