Very excited to be heading back to Nashville,
September 12-17,for Americana Fest ! Of course I'll be attending that,but even groovier, I'll be recording some new tunes while there,with my friend,& 3x #1 charting songwriter,Bob McGilpin! Bob's tune "Don't Want To Lose You" is a little taste of what's to come,& a pre-release from our new EP! Should be some fun videos up on my Youtube channel,thelucyhammondband !

Dear Music Lovers!
Every time I send out one of these missives,it feels a bit like throwing stones into the abyss! Not unlike what it feels like to be a self funded,indie artist in today's music business,sending your songs out into the world! No matter! I'm one of those crazy people who thinks,somewhere out there,it will make a difference for someone,(besides me)& that alone makes it worth the effort!

I'm looking forward to new adventures in 2016! Sure hope you are too! One of my goals is to put aside the funds to upgrade my membership here,as more of you have made an effort to connect here,than on any other platform I've every been a part of,outside Facebook,Instagram,& Twitter! My mantra for this year,& the rest of my life is: Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. By applying this thought process,most reasons for why we think we can't do something,is removed! We all matter! Take steps every day toward all that brings you joy,regardless of how small they may seem! Have faith all will work out for the best,even when the opposite seems true! Know someone out there cares,because I do! Soooo......in 2016 I wish for us all to be well,be happy,& be prosperous! You can do it!
