Irish band the Dardanelles released their first demo "Coming Up For Air" in June of 2006. A limited run of 300 cds were printed, sold, and distributed among friends and press in their native city of Cork. Having supported bands like Delorentos, Jerry Fish and Director the band now have their sights firmly set on bringing their setlist nationwide. Currently in the process of recording a new 4 track e.p. with producer Simon Widdowson (Box Camera, the Decemberists, Broken Trophy), the Dardanelles are preparing to brave the elements with it's release in 2007. | | |
