I was born in deep east Texas and grew up making my gas money hunting and selling Coon for their meat and their hides , the local folks down in County Line called me the Coon Man and I knew them all. I played all the sports they had to offer in High School and I also hauled hay to make a few bucks to put gas in an old 41 silver streak .After high school I worked, road construction, a bridge builder for Southern Pacific RR then a Pipliner. But then Uncle Sam called me to Vietnam, a hell hole, with lots of death, but Vietnam gave me true buddies so do not regret my service. Then I spent 23 years Teaching and (expired link) this time I was writing (expired link) everything. I started writing at about 10 years old and bought my first guitar about the same time. I still have scraps of paper with songs scribbled on them from back in those early days and songs written on letters sent to me in Vietnam and I would just write a song on the back and sent it with a note back home> Those War songs will be put in an album or two one of these days. Thank you for support! Hank Williams was the first to have an impact and my dad who could make a french harp moan and groan taught me a cord or two on that old guitar and I been at it ever since then! Enjoy a lot of years of material! Thanks for your kind support!.
