When Syvia Ajayi was growing in her mother's womb, there was a great prophecy that was released upon her life. The gift and the grace of God that is upon Syvia Ajayi became apparent at the age of 5.
Even though Syvia Ajayi did not have the best none perfect childhood, Syvia remembered how her parents made sure she served God. Syvia Ajayi childhood experiences and the hardship she went through derived her desires to uplift and empower those oppressed, depressed, excluded and feel rejected and neglected in society through her music ministry. She believes that God gives peace to those that society, the world have forsaken. Syvia has the desire to bring salvation to lives and to spread the love of Christ to all mankind.
At the age of 10 the gift of God in Syvia Ajayi's life started manifesting. She was always appointed as a lead vocalist in every gospel mass choir she was part of. Syvia Ajayi started going to the studio at a very young age as a backup singer. God gave Syvia the privilege to perform in countries in Europe (expired link) Spain, Italy, Holland, England and Belgium.
In the year 2000, Syvia gave her life to Christ fully. Somewhere along the line, Syvia was very hungry to have a relationship with God. In 2007/8 she took up a vocal training session in CLC London which was coordinated by a well known Actress/Director Kelly Bryan who was a member of the girl band in the 90's called ETERNAL. Syvia recognised the gift and talent that God has given her. Syvia was desperate to use her gift for his glory.
In January 2013, Syvia Ajayi released her first debut single titled 'Here I am use me'. Syvia Ajayi's single has blessed lives and people have given great testimonies. Within few days of the released, Syvia's single appeared on iTunes charts 5 times for 2 months. It also appeared on Christian and gospel charts where she was really closed to her Legend Pastor Donnie McClurkin.
In May 2013, Syvia Ajayi released her debut album titled 'The God of Love & Wonders'. The album was a way to express how amazing God has been in her life and the wonderful miracles he has done for her. The album has blessed lives and it's still blessing many lives.
As a songwriter, Syvia is very passionate to write positive songs that glorify God and that will also bless and transform all mankind through God's revelation, personal experiences, and scriptural words of encouragement. Syvia Ajayi has that same passion when leading the people of God into God presence. She does not want people to experience just the flow of God. She wants people to experience the overflow of his presence.
Syvia' believes that her number one Inspiration is her heavenly father, her Maker and then her family. In terms of her musical inspiration, Syvia Ajayi is inspired by great gospel artist such as Cece Winans , Martha Munizzi, Juanita Bynum, Darwin Hobbs and Israel Houghton.
Syvia Ajayi has recently released a debut single titled; Magnify' Ft Samuel David. This single has recently been featured on Gospel Innovation Website.
Syvia is happily married blessed with a daughter and presently a full member and a praise leader in RCCG City of David Cambridge
