This band rocks!Checking out this band Syteria and totally dig what I'm hearing. Like a cross between The Runaways and Cycle Sluts from Hell Hard, raw and cut throat straight up rock n roll. Heavy drums, guitars and powerful vocals not to mention powerful lyrics with a touch of humor in there as well. Hope to catch this band live one day, they would totally fit into the San Francisco scene here!
This Song RocksEasy for me to review a song like this, because I love Punk. Pop music doesn't quite grab me, but I love the way this song comes across from a punk standpoint before it slips to the Pop side. It could have lasted a whole minute or two longer, but the blunt ending definitely has a great effect. Words are easy to understand, and that's always a welcome feature on any song, in my view.
A classic pop punk punchThat's a well tough, well arranged and well produced song, with all the vibe and punch it needs. Vocal interaction and harmonies are really nice and give the listener layers of interesting points of view. Guitars and drums are a beast, and bass is just there to help them crush everyone in a rumbling pogo. If there's a weak point, the song is just too short!
a taste of Syteriaclean crisp driving delicious punk flavor! audible vocals a fine balance of harmony, the production is extremely tasteful again a superb balance of instruments and vocals, going for listen#2 ,sitting in the house listening to this track makes me hunger for more,it's refreshing to hear new music that puts faith back in the march forward of rock, no autotune sweet textures dancing in my audio receptors , can't wait to listen to this track in my car, keep on rocking and recording ass kicking songs like this bravo i salute you SYTERIA, this song makes you want to seek and find more material by this band!
Nice Job LadiesFirst of all I don't usually listen to this type of music. I was intrigued by the album photo. I was taken right away by the harmonies and the feel of the song, I really enjoyed it! I'm listening through and the mix is very tight, and the vocals are well done, harmonies perfect. I absolutely cannot find anything I do not like about the song, that I was quite sure by the name of it I was not going to enjoy but I was wrong :D KEEP IT UP GIRLS YOU GOT REAL POTENTIAL HERE!
STUPID GIRLSHORT SHARP AND TO THE POINT GREAT EDGY GUITAR THIS IS WHAT PUNK IS ALL ABOUT THE ANGST IN THE VOCALS WITH A HARD DRIVING SOUND THESE UK PUNKSTERS DONT MUCK ABOUT THE TRACK GETS RIGHT INTO IT AND HAS A CATCHY CHORUS THE DRUMS ARE UP NICE AND BIG IN THE PRODUCTION AND THE LENGTH OF THE SONG IS JUST RIGHT FOR THIS TYPE OF THEME NEED SOME ENERGY THEN YOU COULD DO A LOT WORSE THAN CHECK THIS OUT NOW
Song tells it like it isPerhaps I'm a bit of a closet punk rock lover. The energy in this song is infectious. I would love to hear the band live. The musicians in this band are tight and all good players....and the mix is excellent. The lyrics are clear and so's the message. Great job with this song. Keep up the good work. I think this is my first 5 star review.
Beautiful and refreshing...That's real refreshing pop punk! I like that songwriting, good performance and beautiful voices working together. Great production brings all instruments forward to impress the audience with the mighty force female rocking voice and guitar oriented pop punk! Gives me that happy feeling... You do really good! So what's there left to say? Nothing. Stay that way and rock on!

Not so stupid! So if this band keeps on writing and recording tight, melodic, ass kicking grunge pop like this, they will certainly get discovered because it's freakin, excellent, it's like Green Day meets Jimmy Eats World!! I'd listen to more and will! Better than everything I've listened to tonite on N1M. Sometimes you have to wade thru a lot of shit on here to find a gem like this but it's worth it. Keep on rockin' ladies, it won't be long!
OMG YES!I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting this song on N1M! This is how a song should sound if you are going to have the world listen to it. Everything is in time and sounds like a great mix! Everything is tight, punchy and sounds damn near perfect! I can't say anything negative about this song. I'm so happy to hear something of this quality and from a band I've never heard of before is so refreshing. I've listened to it with earbuds and straight through my computer speakers and it still sounds amazing! The song is fun, exciting, punchy and still has an element of mainstream yet very underground punk. I love the singer's voice, the vocal layering. The bass runs solid drumming. As i said I can't say anything band about this song! Cheers to you and best of luck in all of your future recordings!
Stellar!!From the opening of 'Stupid Girl' you can tell Syteria has hit their stride; with a combination of rock guitar, pop punk harmones and catchy hooky choruses this song has it all. Clearly they have been honing their craft and this is a direct product of that craft and skill. 'Stupid Girl' is a great song, great hooks, great catchy lyrics, 5 stars indeed! Rock On Syteria!
Best reviewThere is no comment on this song!! A big high five. Best of wishes for the next upcoming song. Cheers from Nepal!! This song should have gone through charts other than numberonemusic charts, in other live stations! It would be a wonderful time going into the consert of Syteria!! Cheers once again!!
I likes me some energyI can feel energy and excitement in this tune. Drunk hillbillys can slam dance to this....I like the chord progressions since they don't sound like a re-hash of stuff I've heard before and they appeal to my sense of melody. I likes me some Pop Rock and this be that. Scott G / Vegas Hyenas
very 80shas a good repetitive chord progression, the lead vocals are good can not put my finger on which 80s singer she reminds me of but it is a fun song , I really like the ending only thing that would have been nice to hear would be a guitar or synthesizer solo. Good Job.
