In October 2004 Summit made their debut with 2 local bands, and national touring punk act Toys That Kill. Througout 2005, and 2006 Summit steady booked shows with many different local, regional, and national acts, some wich included bands like: The Groovie Ghoulies, The Queers, Toys That Kill, and Wheatus. During this period Summit had undergone a change of drummer a few times, until it was decided that it would be best to become a 4 piece outfit with more dynamics while taking turns playing the drums. In December 2006 Summit played their first gig as a 4 piece with the best response yet. In the summer of 2007 Summit went in the studio to record their first CD, and they are now having the CD release party in November, before booking as many shows possible in support of their first full length recoding. |
