Shine Your Face

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song we've got a fun little guitar intro leading to a very typical pop song - IN ALL THE RIGHT WAYS. Vocally I'm so pleasantly surprised. This is such a lovely song. Only my 4th 5* review of '19.

Hide Your Face

Strip n Roll has sent me a request for review their creation "Hide Your Face" Sometimes, I will find out later that the artist never sent a request to be reviewed and that Number One Music sent out an algorithm. that being written, I normally go through a lot of songs before I find a tune worthwhile of a review butt, today was the exception. "Hide Your Face" gives you that kinda, sorta sad feeling right off the bat. Like a teenage themed movie intro song when the hottie is kicking her boyfriend out of her crib and "Hide Your Face" is playing in the background as he's driving away. You question how will it all end?

Hide Your Face

Nice Guitar Intro, Base& backing strings are very warm. The E.Q. on the drum cymbals are too loud in the upper frequencies, (This is my only complaint on the drums.) The vocals are good. This is a fine-tune. Next time, put more ears onto the final mix..Nice.

HIDE YOUR FACE

MY FIRST REVIEW OF THIS UNITED KINGDOM GROUP THAT HAILS FROM LONDON THIS IS A DISTINCTIVELY ACCOUSTIC GUITAR SONG WOULD LIKED TO HAVE HEARD SOME SLIGHTLY HEAVIER RYTHM GUITAR IN THE CHORUS TO HELP GIVE THIS SONG MORE VARIATION AND LIGHT AND SHADE IN THE PRODUCTION OTHERWISE ITS FAIRLY LIGHT AND BREEZY EFFORT LEANING MORE TOWARDS FOLK POP THAN ROCK BUT DEFINITELY WORTH A LISTEN

celestiale

ragazzi bel brano che scorre piacevole suoni curati e ben miscelati.trovo in questo brano un senso celestiale ma allo stesso tempo energetico. una voce molto accattivante e dolce .bel lavoro continuate cosi.

Melodic Rock

This is a fine piece of music. I can't really fault it. All it really needs is perhaps some backing vocals, particularly in the chorus to make it more radio friendly and catchy. I can hear backing vocals but they should be more prominent in the mix. And perhaps the intro is too long? You really have to grab the listeners attention before they lose interest. But I'm just being picky. Not a bad song.

Nice song From The UK

i liked this track. gentle gutar and a nice lilt to it. Well produced it gets into your head. Reminds me of Bowie vocally and someone else who I can't remember. The Uk hasn't produced a lot of great music in recent years nice to hear that we're getting there again!

Strip and Roll's "Hide Your Face"

Upon my very first listen to the song "Hide Your Face" by London-based rock band Strip n Roll, I am reminded of some of the better 1980's rock artists, as Strip n Roll's terrific sense of melody, as well as songcraft and production are right in the pocket. Additionally, the musical performance itself is inspired and refreshing. I very much look forward to hearing more from this fine band!

While Listening I was Really Hoping for a Chorus to Shine with the Song Title...

I like the sound. Almost like a Sixpence None The Richer along with Nick Lowe. I was really hoping that there would have been a Chorus or a Bridge hook line, with the song title, "Hide Your Face'. Maybe with a little more thought and revamping you can take this fine song to an even better level. Of course, this is only my opinion. I like the lead vocal. Maybe adding a dash of harmony in places would have increased my rating. Whatever you do, keep writing and re-writing!! lots of potential here.

yes

Hide Your Face review. this song is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

A Great playful sound. Driving with the top down on a beach highway. Nothing but you and the road. Leaving the busy world behind and looking for a new adventure. Definitely worth a listen!
