About Strident

Strident is a thrash metal act from Israel, formed in 2004.

After 4 years of playing and writing their own material they changed the lineup and self-released demo called "Insanity" printed on CD's in very limited amount.

In 2010 band release their debut album called "On the Aim" – it was a first longplay Thrash Metal album released on local scene, back in the day.

"ON THE AIM" gained a lot of reference worldwide, reviews in webzines, magazines over Europe. Western Europe, Japan and USA.

Most important shows:
• 2015 Strident opened for Overkill at Tel Aviv.
• 2016 band appeared on 2 abroad shows, both of them been in Ukraine. One as opening act for Nervosa and second at an annual metal festival.

The way we made from a start till today was very difficult, we faced a lot of obstacles on the way to success. Some of them was the same like others and some of them was much harder to overcome. We did it now and we will do it again, until we get to the top!
