Hey Stratify Fans,
The release of our album "Smooth Your Mood, Funk Your Groove" has gone pretty well! Our single "Should I Go/Should I Stay" has been added to a morning breakfast compilation and is being played at various coffee houses globally. As of yesterday, the same song along with our other hit Switch (The Groove) have been selected for airplay on Nationally distributed radio station WOAFM99.

We are now in the early stages of our second album of which we're looking at adding instrumentals to showcase the musicians of the group. Some of it will be funky smooth, and some will just be smooth jazz. Either way, we thank you all for your support and look forward to creating more music for you to hear.

New Release - Change of Season

Hey Folks, we hope you all are staying safe and your families are doing well. Needless to say, this virus has put a serious damper on a lot of things and that includes our music. We had hoped to release our new CD on March 28th, but the shelter in place mandate put a stop to that.

Please take care of yourselves and hopefully we'll be back in business soon!

Hey Folks, just hitting you up with a quick update! Tomorrow we'll be putting the final touches on the last 2 songs of our CD and we are very excited! It has been an exhausting and sometimes trying endeavor, but we are very happy with the end result and hope you will be too. We're performing 2 of the songs on March 7th so we hope to have some good video to present in the days following the gig. Expect those 2 songs to be available by March 28th!

Stratify fans, first thank you for your patience and continued support. It has been a rough few months for the Stratify family which is why we have been so silent. Our co-founder and sax player Garry Jones lost his wife to breast cancer and guitar player J Rock moved out of the area. Family has always been something special to Stratify, so these losses took their toll on us and we had to shutdown for a bit. That said, we have found a new guitar player and Garry is back to blowing his horn, so it's time to crank up the rehearsals, do some shows and get back in the studio! Look for new music in 6 to 8 months! Thank You!

Just want to remind you that if you're in the California Bay Area and need to smooth your mood or funk your groove, Stratify FunkJazz will be putting it down from 8pm to 12am at The World Famous Turf Club in Hayward, CA.

After a few months of waiting for our keyboard player to heal from rotator cuff surgery, we are back in the studio preparing for shows in June, July, August and September! We putting together a new show, but we will still keep some of our classics like Superstar, I Wish and Brazilian Love Affair. Hope to see you soon!

Hello All,

First, thank you for following Stratify! It has been a busy year thus far. We performed our last summer show on September 10th and picked up a new venue for the summer of 2018 called The World Famous Turf Club. Since then we've been working on a new show, focusing on some original material and marketing ourselves for some holiday shows.

Thanks again for your support and we'll check in again with more updates as they happen.

Thank you all so much for your support of our music! We love what we do and have a lot of fun doing it. We are currently preparing for our next show on May 12th at Angelicas, and we are excited about returning to the venue that gave us our first gig.
