When I went to England and Europe, the many people I met were the most memorable part of trip. Maybe you can guess, from several titles of my songs, that I love animals... I do... A lot! In the last 20 years or so, have adopted several homeless or abandoned cats or kittens. Some of them, like my cat Yoda, were some very amazing pets... and the best pets ever! If you ever adopted a shelter pet or rescue animal, my deepest gratitude, for being so kind. A good friend of mine in Canada just this week adopted a black Labrador... such a lovely dog. When I needed a title, for my tune 'Cowgirl in the rain', I pictured a woman taking shelter from a rainstorm, under a big tree, with her trusty horse.... Yes, the human-animal bond is so special! The image is of actress Olive Borden, who was in the silent and early 'talkie' movie era. She looks like a cowgirl here, and was in some Western films that you can see clips of on YouTube...
