Sparky Grinstead has been writing and performing his own songs since he began. He was born and at this writing is still living. His music has been compared favorably. Although officially "retired", Sparky still performs locally with his band, The Mighty Backorders, and is currently working on a new recording project.. His albums - Won Out, Le Bonx, FSGBOC, Rodent to Rodent, Winter Comes and Goes and Grimace - although officially sold out, are still available in random corners of internet.
