So, the vocals are a little forced. This does not sound like it's a comfortable voice. It sounds as though it's being pushed to sound like something that is assumed that the audience wants. This is a mistake as it doesn't sound authentic at the least. The drums are heavy and knock out the sound of any other instrument. The guitar is heard, but only when there are no vocals...not well enough engineered to be appreciated at this time. Please work on using your real voice, and if this is you singing, maybe looking into a new singer or finding yourself a "RATT/White Snake" cover band.

"SONIC Rip-PIN" has sent me a request to review their song "My Girl thinks I cheat". I went to Sonic Rip-Pin's page to just kinda find out what this guy is all about, where's he coming from, what has he done to have all these accusations hurled at him. Is his girl a narcissist or is Sonic Rip-Pin the narcissist? So, you look at the names of his other song's "Aggravation" "Wasn't wrong" "Innocent Man" "Is It Just A Test". Wow, all I can say!. Now, My mother RIP was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and this sorta explains the way she was.

This song is ok and has a lot of potential.. Good guitar playing. The only thing about this song I would change is the length. I would make it a little shorter. It gets a little tedious towards the end. The key is to make the listener wanting more instead of wondering when the song is going to end.

My girl thinks I cheat is nice rock & roll song with hints from bands like Black Crowes or even a slight touch of grunge, I like the guitar a lot and the composition is well balanced although the sound quality needs to be improved, which I completely understand as with my songs I also have some trouble as I don’t have the best equipment at home. I will wait for some of this artists singles to come.

Good music, good singing, good lyrics. Some of the chord progressions are excellent in this song, even though it is a simple song, those are normally the best. I like it and everyone else should as well.

This song is pretty tight. I like the fact that the vocals are clear and the lyrics can be understood. The drums are nice and strong and in the pocket. The song has a great hook although I believe it could benefit if it had a bridge that went back to the hook. Adding a bridge would break the monotony of the chord structure of the song and add so much more shine to the song.It's a great song as it is but just needs to be tweaked a bit. The mix seems to be fairly balanced and clean. It is a good production recording wise as well. Keep up the good work!

I like the intro of the rock-guitar. Shawn A Hager has a dynamic voice and distinctive vocal projection. Impressive lyrics and accompaning lead guitar make this song engaging for me. The distortioned rock guitar sound brings imaginative transitions from the stanza to the chorus making the music lively and creative. Powerful drums puts one immediately into the right mood. guilty of cheating? the music rocks. I like the mix of the guitar, bass & drums. The music is easy to listen to and its catchy. The vocals could use some polishing up on. As far as your lady problems go 9 times out of 10 accusations tend to lead to the one pointing the finger as the guilty one of the crime. I say do the dignified way of things & leave her ass behind & don't look back. I give this track a 4.5 out of 5. for its quality

Everything is to its lieu, be it arrangement, vocalizing or availing musical instruments as such. One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the wicked guitar intro kicks us into an experience that is sure to delight. Vocally - perhaps a cross between AC/DC and 3rd Eye Blind, I was weary at first of the singers gift - but as the song goes I wanna rock out on a Friday night at the local club. This is well crafted and builds nicely. DO IT!
