I started in 1972 playing Bass with different Rock and Country bands and some of the best musicians in the greater Montreal area, mostly Country because they had more work 
In 1990 decided to switch over to guitar to form a duo with my long time friend and bass player Buddy, called Max Duo, top 40 and dance, together we played different venues and were considered a top duo in the Montreal area.
In 1995 the business was changing and getting harder to find work so I decided to venture out as a single , had some good success for a year until I had to have throat surgery, and had struggled ever since with my vocals, but did play bass again with some great musicians for a couple years after.
In 2000 me and my old friend Buddy decided to get back together again and form another duo, South of 40, this time with a little more country rock flavour.
We worked together until 2011 when we decided to stop, (we were both getting pretty old LOL) but still kept in touch.
In 2016 I decided to do some home recordings just to keep us busy, so decided to call my old partner Buddy and we’ve been having fun doing it ever since.
We don’t play in public anymore but we still love the music, so I hope everybody enjoys it and it brings a smile, or gets you taping your feet.
