Have been away from the site for several months now due to some other activities tying up the schedule. Among them recording, rehearsing, and playing a few shows to get things in gear for the road. However, our listeners here at Numberonemusic have been a little ahead of the curve by comparison to everyone else...so this little period of downtime from the site should allow some others to get up to speed with our N1M audience. Your enthusiasm for our music is why we do what we do, and keeps the Shotgun Waldo material in the mix on the N1M charts. Your support and encouragement is very much appreciated.

At this time of year, on behalf of the all the musicians who are part of the Shotgun Waldo project, we would like to wish all of our fans, a very merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a very Happy new year.

As indicated in the most recent newsletter, the new project has taken a bit of a hiatus over the past few months, but should be moving forward again in the early days of 2015. The current ETA for the new album should be an April/May time frame, with some targeted touring in the Shotgun Waldo hot spots.

Top 5 on the list are unchanged again this month, with the biggest change being Italy pulling ahead of France and Germany once again to re-take the 6th position. Germany and France have retained the 7th and 8th spots in the listings respectively, while Spain has maintained the 9th position, just ahead of Switzerland.

There have been some big changes in the cities listing this month. Los Angeles, California and Montreal, Quebec are tied for the top spot this month with New York City is still keeping pace and locking down the third spot. Top three cities continue to run neck and neck for the top spot. Auckland, New Zealand continues to hold down the 4th position with London, England edging closer from the 5th spot. No city was bumped out of the Top 10 this month, but there was some jockeying of positions. Toronto, Ontario, continues to hold down the 6th position on the list, while Brisbane, Australia has jumped up the list into the 7th spot, dropping Orlando, Florida, into the 8th position, while Wellington, New Zealand moved past Sydney, Australia, into the 9th position. Two cities from Australia and New Zealand have retained positons in Top 10 list again this month.

California continues to maintain a significant lead on the top position over the other states this month. Arizona has jumped a couple of spots into the number 5 spot, bumping North Carolina and New Jersey into the 6th and 7th positions respectively. Colorado has hung onto the 8th spot, and two new states have made their first appearance in the top 10 this month. Pennsylvania has jumped into the 9th spot on the listing, and Illinois has secured the 10th position, bumping both Michigan and Georgia out of the Top 10 for the time being.

We would also like to send out a special hello to subscribers from new countries on the mailing list for the first time this month. They include Latvia, India and China.

Canada is still holding onto 2nd, with the (expired link). gaining ground from the 3rd position. Also, Australia has solidified the 4th place ranking among Shotgun Waldo supporters, replacing Italy and bumping them into 5th position, with New Zealand just edged out of the top 5; but still very close to the top 5 ranking.
This update, for the first time, includes a listing of fan support by cities. And although being edged out of the top 5 nationally, New Zealand has made the top 5 on this list.

Still working out details on programs whereby we can get introduced to some of you personally when we get into your neck of the woods while promoting the new material. We will likely be making confirmation requests as part of that process…so be sure to reply when you receive the confirmation request.
To date over 50% of the fan support is coming from the (expired link). of A.; with California leading the way; Texas a strong second, and Florida, New York State, and North Carolina rounding out the top 5 states. After the (expired link), Canada is the next leading nation of supporters, with the (expired link). a strong third, Italy fourth, and Australia and New Zealand trading the 5th position back and forth. Of course these will be the areas we will be targeting for promotional junkets and first tour dates. Many pockets of support throughout the rest of the Euro zone also.

Some of you have already noticed…but for those who have not; there is another selection posted on the Shotgun Waldo page from “The Highland Sessions”. The track is “Radiation Rain”. It’s new to the N1M site. In addition, we are currently doing a re-mix on another track from “The Highland Sessions” which will be posted on our N1M page in the coming weeks…for those of you anxious to hear more. Once the re-mix is posted…we should be getting close to some advance previews of the new material for our N1M supporters.
