Hello Everybody, I returned from Nashville last Sunday having spent seven days at Funhouse Studios on Music Row working with my producer Ernie Rowell. Ernie has a great Country Music pedigree, having been with the legendary George Jones, Ray Price, Mel Tillis and Stonewall Jackson during his music career. The musicians who I work with all have great music pedigrees also. I feel both honoured and humbled to have so much talent working with me. My next album is called 'Friends & Heroes' and will be released later this year. Whilst I was at the studio I cut a total of 18 tracks and apart from the album I will be releasing a Christmas EP later this year and a Country EP next Spring. Several of the tracks on the new album are sung in the company of friends. I had the privilege of recording one of my songs, "Forever Friend" with the great Jimmy Payne who is a close friend of mine. Another track, originally performed by Wynn Stewart, is "What A Pretty World" and I'm singing it with my good friend from Austria, Country singer Brian Duckworth, aka 'Brian the Hat'. Ernie Rowell is singing on another track with me and also Sandy Smolen. It promises to be a really great album! Keep your eyes peeled for more news to come!
