The blues

Your blues voice sounds fantastic on this song I love someone that that sings what they feel. The guitar played is perfect and fits well in this. I could listen to this song over and over again.

Nice track

SharBaby and friends I like your track. Very honest, true to form 12 bar blues. Nice guitar, very rich tones, good soulful solos and nice understated fills. I like how the vocal is nice and upfront in the mix. Really nice snare drum sound and overall drum mix .

Dirty Laid Back Blues

Very nice blues about minding your own business. The guitar plays very nice riffs throughout. The music is solid and feels quite nice. At this slow tempo, sometimes the instruments can get ahead of the beat for a second, so it would be good to work with a great producer to assure the very best instrumental work stays tight and vocals are brought in perfectly. But even with that being said, this performance has a very nice feel to the blues vocal, so overall the message and groove feel quite good. This is a track that should be showing up in a movie to set a mood as well as getting radio play on artistic radio stations like KCRW and other places that would embrace and support blues and organic music. I look forward to hearing more from this talented artist and songwriter.

Who doesn't love the blues??

The real thing here... Loving the feel, the attitude, the true essence of the blues. "Just leave me alone, .... Let me make my own mind" now that's the blues. Simplicity and no clutter is how it's done, and you done it right

Smooth Greatness

Very smooth sounds right off the bat and very well recorded. The vocals blend well with the mix and take on their own character and are very believable. Not just believable but the vocalist is very suitable to the style and has an amazingly good voice! The sliding riffs work well on those in betweens and give extra emphasis and added interest to the song. The ride cymbal that becomes predominant right before the solo is so crisp and clean and perfect.

Own Mind Blues Review

Like the laid back feel and and relaxed phrasing. Gradual layering of instruments fits tune and tasty guitar riffs work here. Ending a little awkward and sudden without a real climax in the song. I felt it could use a bridge or more dynamic build. Little drum fill before guitar solo seems to drag.

chill in the blues

Nice Blues with a really laid back feeling. Like this style of playing very much.....wanna hear more. Missing a little the bottom of a cool bass-line. Lyrics are for me as a non native speaker not as important

I so agree

SharBaby and friends has done a great job with this selection. I love the way her voice is so smooth and easy. I also agree totally with her lyric. I could have written one like this myself because in this music business there's always someone telling you what you need to do ..she did a great job there. I need to make up my own mind and so does everyone else in this world you go by what you learn what you've been taught and make up your own mind don't follow anyone blindly or let anyone else tell you how to think or feel Bravo SharBaby. We'll done. Terri Lynn blues

Sweet, Smooth, Feel The Groove..

"Own Mind Blues," from SharBaby & Friends, gently sneaks into a lovely Gospel, Slow Blues groove that's captivating, charming and stays true without becoming redundant. 30 seconds in, I could almost feel a lovely lady in arms, smiling, slowly dancing. This song hits the mark on every level, very well written and produced, a mood setter tastefully delivered with style, quality lyrics and a lovely vocal track.

I got the Blues For sure

From the first opening bar I got a major case of the classic Blues. Well played and your vocalist only adds to the overall vibe of been there done that. Well mixed good lyrics and on overall Classic presentation.

Chill out blues.

This song is the perfect companion for a drive in the countryside. Mellow and straight. This ...up down (!) tempo is what makes it powerful. The drums then sound so good. I'll play it a lot in my future. Good job boys!!!
