About "Young Mikie" Selph Served Ent.

Michael Jacobs, also known for his stage name Young Mikie was born and raised in Ann Arbor MI. He now resides in Ypsilanti MI with his parents and siblings. Young Mikie falls in the middle of 5 children where he has humbly assertivaly valued all aspects of life. Parents, Shatonya and Roderick Jacobs have fought hard to keep Roderick jr., Najee, Michael (Young Mikie), Zharne, and Hazell on a path of doing right. Teaching them that hard work and dedication will lead them to strategically reach goals, which leads to the success of making dreams come true.
At the tender age of 9 years old, Young Mikie sought forth his dream of becoming a musicul artist. Without even realizing his potential Young Mikie began experimenting with his lyrical flow. Starting with announced in the basement of his Grandmother's home (Ann Arbor MI). Young Mikie along side his older brother Najee and cousin Lamonte Hughbanks produced by his uncle Damon Jacobs recorded their first single "Basketball". This first single inspired Young Mikie to continue to put his lyrics to work, which is all in the making of unfinished buisness.
By the age of 17, Young Mikie had mastered the art of music that instilled him to keep moving forward with his dreams. Although he was never taken seriously by peers or family members, Young Mikie continued to write lyrics with and without beats. Also at the age of 17, Young Mikie succeeded in self-producing his first mixtape "Soon2BDaGreatest", with upcoming hits (4-20, I Kno Da Future, MJ Da Great, Ransom). With this dedication and determination to succeed, Young Mikie became a member of "StayReady" a production company based out of Bellville MI, that scouts young talent. While with "StayReady" Young Mikie was featured in a local hit "Im The Man" along side of artists Anonamis and SIXX. Not one to stay in the back light of things, Young Mikie decided to venture off from "StayReady" and continued pursuing his dreams of musical artistry.
So twards the end of the age 17, Young Mikie graduated from Willow Run High School and is continuing his education at Washtenaw Community College. He continues to take courses at WCC in Music Production, to help perfect his talent.
