SAX MAN MIKE CLARK
Hello,
I am Michael Clark. I have played sax most of my life. I wanted to see what the public thinks. During the years, I have played at many different places in the US. I have been in bands as a lead SAX MAN most of the time. Now I live in Tallahassee, Fl . the mp3 files posted on the site were done in my home studio using CUBASE SX 4.2 , HYPERSONIC 2.0, Grove Agent 2.0 Real Guitar and other VST programs.
During the high school years I played sax for the CORVETTES, Located in Bladensberd Maryland, a 1950's style rock and roll band. The band played the High School dances as well as a lot of the college dances in the washagition, Maryland, and Vinger area. I played in the bands in the 50's so my roots are deep in the 50's and blues sound.
After high school and the US Army, I moved back to Maryland and played sax for different groups as well as the Lamp Lighters 6 nights per week, Until the move to Columbia. I moved to Columbia SC, and played sax 6 nights for the TIMES at the PIRATE'S COVE. As well as LOVE, INC a 13 pice rock band with some road work.
The next move was Jacksonville Fl. and once more I played SAX 6 nights a week at 90 BY THE SEA. This was a three-piece jazz pop group. Sax, drums, keys, and B3 organ.
I then moved to Pensacola Fla. for 25 years and played sax as a free lance SAX MAN. I played in the 50’s show at HAPPY DAYS AGAIN with a local 50's style band.
I now live in Tallahassee Fla. and work for the State but I still play the sax it has always been the first love.
