About Robert DeHart
If You Like Country With A Little Taste Of Southern Rock Look No Further !!! That Is My Style So Sit Back And Take A Listen And Stay A While... Hey every one. I try to keep a more traditional style to my music. I feel if country is going to crossover to another genre of music I feel it should be Rock, Southern Rock or Blues instead of Pop or Hip Hop. I think that is the wrong direction for country music to go. This is just my opinion of course so I hope I don't offend anyone. First time I ever took the stage I was 6 years old. It was at a blue grass gospel festival in Kentucky. I rember at 4 years old sitting beside my grandma trying to teach me piano. All my family was into music and played. Got my first bass guitar at 8 years old and I was hooked. From then on I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I grew up playing in churches, and festivals throughout Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, so I come from a long line of musicians. My Grandfather played fiddle on the Grand Ole Opry back in the early 50's. In the 60s my uncle's had a popular rock band called The Chordsmen. In the early 90's I was in Nashville, and recorded at Nightingale Studios. Signed a 2 year recording contract with Patriot Records. I meet with a lot of interesting people and learned a lot about the music business. I still write my own music and performing every chance I get.
