For Dad, On Father's Day... Go Rest High On That Mountain Happy Father's Day y'all! This one's for Dad even though he passed in 1995. I have gone well beyond 2000 subscribers here on NumberOneMusic, and while I am proud, and I am considerably more thank-FULL. Bringing music, brings life love and happiness to me, and from what I can tell from those who have written personally, it seems it can be spread... and I am glad to continue, as long as I have breath. I have been spending a disordinate amount of time building my software company here in Austin, Texas, "The Live Music Capital of the World", and have been scarsely on stage considering my reputation. Many have called me a "legend", and largely because of the variety of songs and genres I choose from on any given night. So here's the point of my long-winded-ness... I am taking requests, from you, my fans. Have a song you would like me to cover that you think would fit my voice? Send me the name of the original artist, the song title, and any thing of note that makes you love the song, and I will do my best and let you know personally when it has been recorded and posted.
