Jaycee Cardoso, age 17 is going to be a senior in high school. he has been playing the violin since the 4th grade and it has been his passion ever since. He participates in the schools pit and symphony orchestra and spent the summer with traveling with NYO-USA playing in Miami and Carnegie Hall with some of the best young musicians in the country.
Mark Lopresti age 19, is starting his sophomore year majoring in electrical engineering at Farmingdale State College. People are always impressed by his skills on the saxophone and he is always remembered for his spiritual presence on stage. The band as well as the audience, love to experience Mark's humorous yet contagious energy onstage and offstage. On his own time he enjoys playing the bass and leading worship on Sundays.
Caitlin Doody, age 16 is going into her junior year of high school. She has been singing from a very young age but only recently joined the stage with Pursuing JC. Although singing takes up a large part of her life, she still enjoys being on the school track team and participating in her school musicals and plays. She also has been dancing for several years which she brings to the stage through her energetic performance.
Kaemon Van is 14 and going into his freshman year in high school. He has been playing guitar since the age of 6 and has a true natural talent. With his inspiration being the one and only Eddie Van Halen. He has made his way through all the basics of guitar playing, and now is Pursuing JC's lead guitarist. Although he is one of the newest member, he quickly became a fan favorite with both his stage presence and outstanding guitarmanship. His favorite event to date was Worship in the Adirondacks, but has loved the fact that he gets to travel and perform what he loves.
Brandon Belcher age 16 is a junior in high school. He started his music career at age 10 as a lead singer in a 10 to18 year old band and has continued ever since. Brandon's amazing voice not only got him on stage but on the field before a Mets game singing DONT STOP BELEIVING (found on YouTube). Brandon has performed at top venues such as Bolton Tilles Center and numerous outdoor festivals, charity events and churches. Brandon has had many opportunities to perform on and off Long Island, Manhattan and most recent The Adirondacks. Currently, Brandon is in High School Concert Choir. He has participated in NYSSMA singing solo in Italian achieving outstanding scores. He is extremely proud to now be a member of Pursuing JC and enjoys the many opportunities this path of Christian Rock and Worship has presented him.
Jordan Simpson age 19, is starting his sophomore year of college at The New School in Manhattan. Although you will usually find him on the bass his music talent doesn't end there, he loves song writing, is an amazing drummer, and can truly make any instrument he picks up sound good. His dream is to study Music Engineering and Production, in hopes of reaching people through his music. Although music takes up a large part of his life he still enjoys playing first base and center field on his baseball team, and always makes time to hang out with his friends.
Devin Simpson is 22 years old and is going into her 5th year in collage. Although nobody would know due to her amazing, and powerful voice on stage, before joining the band she struggled with terrible stage fright that even restricted her from singing in front of her family. After facing her fears she not only enjoys singing in the band but in her collage Acapella group. She also has a passion for writing music and is going to school for Media studies and music production.
Corinne DeRosa is a junior in high school. She has played the drums since she was 9 years old. Her drum teacher claims that 'she was born to play the drums' and she completely agrees! Corinne loves leading worship as she spreads her natural talent and turns heads everywhere she performs. She has followed in her sister Kelsey's footsteps with sports by being a catcher in softball. In 2015 she competed in a Nashville, TN drum off against drummers from across the country between the ages of 13-19 and won the entire event.
Kelsey DeRosa is starting her junior year at Belmont University. Although she has an amazing voice, she is always remembered or her astounding ability to preach the word of God to crowds throughout performances. She has also played the violin since she was 6 years old. She has accomplished many classical milestones with her violin, however her most enjoyable times playing are leading worship in church.
Gregory DeRosa is a Senior in high school and has played the piano since he was 8 years old. He enjoys discovering what he can do with his talents in Christian music, as in all aspects. Gregory claims that "the piano is his life", but he always seems to find time for playing the guitar and his favorite show "The Walking Dead".
