The content is solid, the lyrics are solid. The vocals are sitting on top of the track, as opposed to in the track. There is a whole lot of schools of thought on how to mix in vocals and position the instruments around the primary vocal track. If you are using Logic X, there are a lot of good mixing videos out there on some methods. It may also have to do with the way you are recording and how the dead space is set up behind and around your mic. The vocals are clear enough to work with, just not mixed in to the track. Also, again, it is a thing that takes time and gets in to the engineering side of it, just depends on how interested you are in going that route and having to learn all that stuff associated with it. One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here is a song that starts off beautifully and then the vocals start and completely ruin the entire experience. What is happening here? The production is horrific.

Wow! Very different vibe to what I expect from the introduction music. Interesting beat and lyrics. This song has a very accoustic style sound to it, which I like. The sound in the middle, and the music interlude, is very nice. Definitely a new wave hip hop crossover style track. The chorus is really good, I like the meaning of the lyrics. Very good work, keep making cool music!

The concept is very good however mixing and mastering of the vocals is really needed. I advice you get a professional producer to work with, that will guide your music in a better direction however, the instrumental is really catchy I would give the beatmaker a 4. The vocals end up ruining the whole track. Which gives the track and overall 1
