Nice funk tune

It's a interesting sound. This track reminds me of the singer "cameo" it kind of has that old school funk feeling. The vocals are nice and clear and the composition is awesome. Funk lovers will appreciate this track! good work.

Awesome beat and awesome vocals.

Totally love this. The music , the vocals, the rhythm. I would suggest using a better mic for the vocals, because there's a lot of distortion which you can't mix out. The dryer the vocals the better the easier they can be mixed. But still I can hear this is a great song with great vocals.

Some potential

This song has some potential, but, It needs to be remixed by a professional engineer. You can tell this is the home production because whoever mixed s this is probably the same person who likes hearing their own voice. The Vocal overdub should sound like a group of people and not just one individual tracking The hook line needs to be more definitive, And the background Vocals aren't too loud. I Also believe the song is too long and becomes a little redundant. The drums also should be turn down in the mix, So they don't distract from what the lead vocals on doing.

so so

The record definitely has some stop type of potential I'm just not really sure about the production level and vocals though I think with a little more time spent fixing this record keep going though

I really like the beat. It is very reminiscent of the mid 2000s R&B/Crunk sound (2003-2007), so that's cool. The vocals sound extremely muffled like they weren't compressed and the voices seem to be all over the place. There needs to be more structure to the song instead of a bunch of random moments all happening at once. I can see where you were trying to go with this, so I would just say that before exporting, check your levels to make sure that nothing is in the red.

Your Song Review

In my opinion, the song is fine, but the mixing quality is poor. You should have someone to remix this track for you and it will sound much better. Your vocals are unique and I really do like the soul in your voice.

This beat is poppin but the chorus was a little too difficult to hear. I like the song but it seemed like the timing needs to be synchronized a little more The song has nice lyrics Nice job on the harmonizing segments. Nice song.

Production needs work.

Not the kind of music I would normally listen to, but I enjoyed the melody and lyrics. The only thing to improve on would be the production - quality of recording is a little poor, lot of distortion in the mix.

Curious So So

I think the intentions of this song are in the right direction, but the recording levels on the vocals really is off, to the point the song is distracting to listen to. I'd really encourage the artist to re-check the master file and have it looked at to make sure vocals don't come out distorted.

SO SO

The melody and musical arrangement is passable but it did not express your musical prowess as a musician. There were opportunities to insert an instrumental solo, if nothing else, just to take the load off the vocals. This song could have been crafted much better. It appears layering has proven to be the down fall. The vocals are not distinguishable and could have been presented at a more professional level. The audio quality is lacking what is considered to be a marketable, professional recording as I should hope you are striving for the professional ranks. Back to the drawing board gentlemen. Refine your approach, mix, vocal arrangement, and presentation. I you need some help...let me know!

A&R review

Greesting, we review indie & major artists and we also do consultanting , first like to introduce myself I'm Damon Carter from StarBrite Ent/StarBrite Music South I'm president. Current I'm doing your review, and let start with the production is not mixed well, your vocals is all over the track, needs to be structure better, the song could have potential oncebyou clean up the vocals, arrange the music and lyrics better.

Advice

The instrumental for the song is good, the simplicity is effective, next time try and use less vocal layers it makes it kinda hard to hear what your saying clearly and maybe trying add some reverb to the vocals to help them stand out bit more as a replacement for all the layers on the vocals GOOD Luck
