| Bio of the Artist |
A one-man band by "Phexataan" the bassist of the well known Jordanian Atmospheric Black Metal band "Augury" and the bassist/vocalist of "Tyrant Throne" the new coming Brutal Death Metal band. Also the bassist/vocalist of "Apokalyte", the Electronic Black Metal band.
2001 - The one-man project started by Phexataan (a.k.a Muhannad Bursheh)
2001 - First efforts in electronic demo "Experiments 00-01" (Never officialy distributed)
2002 - October, "The Black Vision" Demo (Never officialy distributed)
2003 - February, "Spirits and Devils" Promo (Very limited release)
2003 - (Late) Busy with Augury
2004 - Busy with Augury & Tyrant Throne
2005 - Feb-Mar, working on first full-length album; "Transfixion"
2005 - July, "Transfixion" album released
2006 - (Early) Busy with Apokalyte and Tyrant Throne, and live gigs
Phex is a multiple styled band, ie: each release may have a different style than others; the first works represented in "Experiments 00-01" were simply electronic music. Later releases such as "Spirits and Devils" promo, had a Doom/Industrial atmosphere. TRANSFIXION is Extreme Metal/Death for instance or Post Death Metal, but next album is intended to be Raw Black Metal. So each album will be different, but it will always be EXTREME METAL with some Electronic/Ambient touches.
