Good song

A disfrutarla!!

Very sweet

This is a great track by Pete, i love how he combines the neo-baroque type sound with the modern elements, I'm guessing this was done mostly by programming so this would be great to hear this recording done live and authentic, but great tune with a great arrangement. Was pleasant...

yes

Funeral Rings is a piece that presents itself with gothic and medieval atmosphere. the piece is very well structured and the instruments used, including the choirs, are very well blended together and give life to a very well-crafted melody that could easily be used in theme films like the lord of the rings or any other work of this kind . I think you did a great job and you have to go on like this

Epically classic tunes

Virtous composition with classical textures and polyphonical choral style with barock elements. The intro begins with brilliant piano arpeggios but the whole tune is more various. You can hear typically keyboard operated sounds producing a wide variety of effects and combining midi signals of different frequencies. This extra factor makes the arrangemend professional and creative. Sounds really beautiful together and make me remember of J.S. Bach fugue and cantatas. Pete Kazen try here to exploited the possibilities of major-minor tonality throughout circle of fifths. Overall epically arrangement is perfect recorded and could be also used for a film score. I´m sure, you will likewise to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Too long

Sacred choral song that perhaps wants to recall certain ancient style, or "classical", but in a very simplistic and generic way. Listening to it I find it rather boring. Apart from the obvious melodic repetitions, there are neither melodic, nor rhythmic, nor harmonic, nor timbral evolutions. Moreover the melodic material is not very incisive. Summing up, we have little movement, little information brought to the ear, so the duration is excessive and the piece arise just a little interest. The sound performance is then insufficient, as the sampling seems of poor quality. All the best

Epic Track!

I was hooked from the first chord and pre-disposed to give a high review. This track does not disappoint! It has a very contemporary cinematic feel, and as stated combines electronica, classical and pop elements very effectively. The chord progression is both mournful and heroic, and the addition of choir adds to the solemnity. The sound design keyboard blended with atmospheric bells is very well constructed, and the voices are quite ethereal. I can see this piece in a film or tv setting. Just one suggestion to improve this piece is to emphasize dynamics between sections, for example diminuendo before the beautiful string solo to give it more impact. Perhaps the addition of a groove or drum percussion layer could be an idea for an alternate mix. Best fortune in your musical journey!
