HELLO! ~ Everyone...Great NEWS! I found some 'more' long lost tapes in the my cassette drawer. Here's the picture again in case you missed it posted before. Today I uploaded "Change" and "Just Cause I Could" done Live at the Dallas Hard Rock Cafe. There are more that I want to share with you in the next few News Letters that I forgot I had. Well...I knew I had them but never dug into it to see what I had until I joined N1Music on up to 'today'. This is an original band I worked with cause I wanted to do something other than cover songs since I was coming to the end of my 22 year music adventure and had to quit to get a 'real' job. I was having way too much fun, not saving my money and living on the fast lane and almost killing myself being stupid. Not to mention just about to turn 40. I did do stuff on the side, like teaching and practicing a lot until Y2k when I met more friends and did "Rock & Roll Down in Texas" and "Unless You Got the Good Stuff" in 2001. You can download "Change" and the other one 'free' for your collections, and many other songs on the list of over 50. Songs that aren't available you can get 'free' also by responding to this News Letter, just for being a mailing list member. Well....WELCOME to my 5th year on N1Music! It's official ~ September 1st was the start of a new year for me along with the perfect timing of hitting the 2M play mark. The Profile view counter will soon be hitting the 2M views also. If you've never experienced a feeling like this, it's hard to explain. It's up there with getting inducted into the Texas Tejano ROOTS 'Hall of Fame' all over again. That's a 'good' feeling that is hard to top, but hitting the 2M play and View mark is right up there with it. THANK YOU! Now let's see how long it takes to hit 3M... I deactivated my Facebook page ~ it had over 2.6M 'Likes', but it was getting a bit hectic in there so I'm taking a little time off of it for a while and might get back on in a few months or so. Other than 'that' I'd like to Welcome ALL the new mailing list members to the fold and ask you to read the last 2 or 3 Letters posted under this one to catch up on the going's On and to get caught up to today's Letter. As you can see I've recorded in over a dozen genre/styles since I was 16 years old in the 10th grade in 1968. Music is my life and without it I'd of never gotten to do many of the things I've done and gotten away with just cause I could, like the latest song I posted says. You'd be shocked at some of them...that's why I had to quit in 1990 to get a 'real' job to get to where I'm at now. Read my extended 'Bio' at the web site and get to know me better there. It's like another News Letter...I write like I talk in case you ever meet me. I like people, but after a few days need my space back. That's why I ask girls if they have a car, so they can leave after a few days. That's 'another' story ~ Gotta go now for another 2 weeks, be sure and mark your calendar 15 days from today when N1Music let's me write another one.
