I've been waiting to write this News Letter since Tuesday, to tell you that there are (6) new songs uploaded for you to hear, but only (1) can be downloaded 'free'. That one is "I've Got a Line on You" done when I was fresh out of High School with Lonnie Aguilar and the Latin Souls from Ft. Worth, Texas. It's the flip side of "Yesterday", also on the list. I started out as the Bass player in the Band and switched over to Tenor saxophone after a while. I'm playing saxophone on both of these songs. The other (5) songs are from (1) of (11) albums called "Estoy Desnudo" that I played while on a (2) year tour with Ricky Smith and La Movida Band..."Si Tu Te Vas", "Estoy Desnudo", "No te Cambiadia Por Nadien", "Junto a Ti", and "Mianteme". These songs are 'Streaming Only' ~ 'not' available for download 'BUT', I will send any of you on this mailing list, an mp3 copy of any of them, if you reply to 'this' News Letter. Only members to the list can get them while I have them on the list. I will delete them in about a month. So, tell your friends to join so they can get them from the 'next' News Letter by being on the list. You can also get mp3 copies of 'any' other song listed that is not available. Just reply and ask, and I'll be glad to send them to any of you, just for being a list member. There are over 3.2k members getting this Letter at the same time. I'm still going through all my collection of cassette recordings and I still have to see how many more I can share with you, now that I have this USB2Cassette tape converter I bought a couple weeks ago. I love this thing, cause it's 'so' easy to use. I have recordings I did in my studio in Dallas with many many friends as you can see from the picture. I had and still have my 16 channel mixing board I used to do it and I am 'still' hoping I can get some these guys back together again if their wives will let them come spend a weekend with me up here at the Lake. It's been some 30 years since I saw some of these rascals and don't really know if they are still able to play, but it would be a blast just to see them again even if they can't. But, like I said...the wives are not too excited about them coming to see me, cause for some reason, they think I'm still a party animal. I've been sober for 12 years now, since I moved out of Dallas. That was the 'only' way I could do it...by getting as far away from them. I can only imagine how much money we drank and pissed down the drain. That beer money is what I'm paying my mortgage with now that I don't drink anymore. I wonder if Budweiser misses me ~ Well....back to the News! I am really excited by all the e-mail I get from all of you ALL over the World and here in the States, telling me how much you like my music. I 'really' Love reading them with my morning coffee. Don't be 'shy'...send me one, even if it's just to say 'Hello' and I'll shout back at ya.
