Good News 'This' time...I spoke too soon on the last News Letter about not being able to upload the songs. The problem was fixed and was able to the next day and hope you've been enjoying them the last 2 weeks. Today, I added 3 more songs to the list from the Dallas Hard Rock Cafe show I did with a band back in '89 just before I had to quit to get a 'real' job. They are "Control" and "Astro Body Girls" done live and uncut. The other song I called it "Go For it" jam with some crazy friends who would come by my home studio in Dallas to let some steam out, spill lots of beer till 10pm when the cops would show up at the door telling us we had to stop cause the neighbors didn't like what we were playing. Check it out and you'll see what I'm talking about. There are now 62 songs on the play list and I hope that I will be able to add many many more if there is no limit, cause I got a whole drawer full as you can see from the picture I posted. Don't know how long this USB2Cassette converter I bought is gonna last, so I'm going easy on it by just doing 2 or 3 uploads at a time...before it breaks and I have to buy another one, which I 'will' do just to keep you all in the loop. I 'love' getting all your e-mails and reading your comments when I check my in-box in the mornings while I have my morning coffee. Keep 'um coming, even if it's just to say 'Hello'. I'll shout back at you, too. A little story about this group I did the Hard Rock Cafe show with....I was looking for an original band to do some things with this Keith Moon bad/ass drummer I had as a friend, and we joined up with some 'cats' from 'Philly' here in Dallas. The singer and lead guitar player were big Bruce Springsteen type guys and had some good material Steve and I got into, and we put our feel to their stuff and this is what we came up with. "XLRrated Particals" is another song we did on the list, along with "Brenda" and "No Pain No Gain" and others. I will be posting as many songs from the show as the weeks go by, so stay tuned. Sorry about the heavy Reverb on the singers mike, by the way. It was a big place and it was also bouncing off the walls a lot. I forgot to 'Label' this tape when I got it that night and also forgot I had it until I ran into it while reviewing what I had in the drawer. Freaked the shit outta me when I heard it. I go...."THERE" it IS! I thought I'd lost it or something cause a lot of things happen'd that night that I can't go into. It's a Rock & Roll thing musicians have the pleasure of doing after a gig with certain party animals who have Astro Body's and they're 'everywhere' as we say in the song. I won't bore you with details...LOL! HEY! ~ I want to WELCOME 'all' the new mailing list members from ALL over the World and here in the States for joining. I see new ones everyday from places like Vienna, Austria and a town up in ICELAND on the list. WOW! Also, many many more joining from Australia, and New Zealand and all over the U.K.! and here in the States from The Bronx to San Francisco to every little booni town in between and from Yellowknife, Canada to Mexico City and on down to Rio and Cape Cod and Chile.
