Paula Arlich comes from a very musical family, so it is no surprise that she was gifted with a special musical talent of her own. Her family realized this when at the age of 3, she kicked her Uncle John (film composer John Williams) off the piano saying "my turn" and played for the first time. Her grandfather (Johnny WIlliams - drummer for the Raymond Scott Quintette) believed she had the "musical gene".

At the age of 12 Paula began to compose simple melodies, and over the years, she has created hundreds of beautiful melodies. In June 2005, her original instrumental CD "A Ray Of Hope" was completed with the help of Producer Jay Stewart and Albert VonSeggern, who recorded the sax and flute on the CD.

Mark Cloud, owner/producer of Uncommonly Round Records heard the CD and immediately began promoting it through The Orchard with great success! It has grabbed the attention of internet radio stations and many songs have made it to the top 100 charts! In 2009, "Lost Love" was nominated for best new age instrumental by the JPF Indie Music Organization.
