The line, 'It took years of bein' bad to get this good ', came from a conversation I had with a cowboy. It really had to do with my life, but it was about his life as well. Cowboy Keith came into my life as a guitar student. He is a gentle-hearted man, soft-spoken and every bit a cowboy. At 6'3", I am sure the horses that carried him must have been tall and strong, like the man. His voice is right out of the early country days, when western voices were distinctively "Country". We meet every Sunday at 2:00 underneath the apricot tree with friends and play. We share the traditional songs we love from the radio, classic country. Then about 3:00 in the morning, some muse that loves country music, wakes me up and is in my head giving me a new country song. I just recorded and uploaded 6 of those songs. Enjoy! I certainly do.
