Luke 9:23 And HE Said To them All, If any man will Come After Me, let him deny himself, and Take Up his Cross DAILY, AND FOLLOW ME. I'm pretty sure Jesus is saying that we need to take up our Cross Every Day! Luke 19:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, So Shall It Be Also IN THE DAYS OF THE SON OF MAN. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until THE DAY That Noah Entered into the ark, and The Flood Came, And destroyed them All. 28 Likewise also as it was IN THE DAYS of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But THE SAME DAY That Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them All. 30 Even thus Shall It Be IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED. 31 IN THAT DAY, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his STUFF in the house, let him Not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise Not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever Shall Lose his Life Shall Preserve It. Remember Lots wife Lk 19:32 Why did she look back what was her STUFF? Stuff can be things, friends even family, remember lot's wife know her son in laws stay behind may be that is why she looked back. What is making you look back and is it worth it? Listen to Hebrews 11 Hebrews 11:10 For he Looked For A City Which Hath Foundations, Whose Builder And Maker Is God. 11 These all died in faith, not having received the Promises, But Having Seen Them Afar Off, And Were Persuaded Of Them, And Embraced Them, And Confessed That they Were Strangers And Pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they That Say Such Things Declare Plainly That they Seek A Country. 15 And Truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. The Lord Is Telling us that if we can't leave the stuff behind, we may have opportunity to return. In Hebrews 11:16 God is not ashamed of us who keep our eyes on the Prize (Phil. 3:12-) But Now they Desire A Better Country, That Is, An Heavenly: Wherefore God Is Not Ashamed To Be Called their God: For He Hath Prepared For them (you) A City. Remember lot's wife, she didn't go back. She only looked back and? Jesus said in Luke 17 mentions not going back for the Stuff. What Stuff will cause you to look back? In Hebrews 11:15 The LORD tells us that if we are mindful of what we came from, we might have opportunity to return. This Is The LORD'S Word so consider what you are being taught here. Jesus also said: And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.(Luke 9:62) In Philippians 3:12 The LORD Says Forgetting those things which are behind! Forget the Stuff, even though it may seem important! Lord, help me to know the stuff in my life, that could keep me from YOU. Jesus Forgive my sin, and all the stuff that has interfered with my Relationship with You. Jesus I want You To Be The Lord Of my Life.
