Alternative power trio from west london It's been too long since you've had your arse kicked properly...
Papersun - an up and coming West London band was formed in 2010. But the band first came together in 2008 as part of Tornwindows - a four piece that broke up because of musical disagreements. The band parted on good terms and went in different directions, getting into other bands on the London music circuit and playing live shows with other musicians. They still remained good friends and the three (Jamie Elliot, Scott Emery and Lewis Clark) still jammed together on and off...
It was only when singer/guitarist Scott Emery started writing songs that they all agreed they should try and have it another shot at making music together. Onwards to 2011, they had a full set list with extra songs and recorded a four song demo and cut their teeth by giging heavy on the london music scene, showcasing their original material. Their influences can be heard from bands such as Nirvana, Oasis, The Who, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Feeder, The La's, Stone Roses and many more.
2012 is looking to be a great year for the band. Papersun will be hitting the studio to record their first album and single, and as always writing new material f
