A Christmas Carol with a Rocky Style.

If you both like Christmas carols and rock, I would recommend this song! This traditional carol keeps its Christmas feeling, while it’s made in a new and interesting style! Well done Outfall!! Jonny Johansson

Interesting take on this Christmas song. so different . Sometimes old songs need a new idealistic face lift. I enjoyed it very mush. Thanks for putting something different spin on this take care Merry Christmas to you.

Great cover

Great cover and I like your transition! I encourage you to play around with it a bit and maybe some lead or a Mannheim steamroller octave change. However what you’ve layed down here is awesome! Christmas carols are hard to convert sometimes ????????????????????????????????????????????????

It's a God thing

Not my style but... anytime God is involved in music it's got to be great right? Just to know that God is in the hearts of men and women of every genre warms my heart. You're doing you, and as a Christian I believe you are awesome!

Solid rock carol

I’ll start with a few suggestions 1) some compression on the vocals will even put volume dips and peaks and make them sound more consistent. Perhaps some harmony vocals on certain sections to add dynamics. 2) kick drum could come up a bit. 3) bass guitar could come up a tad. 4) you may have already done- I’m sorry if you did I couldn’t tell for sure but the rhythm guitars sound best with one take panned left and another take panned right. Now for the good stuff. 1) the vocals are good 2) energy of the song is good 3) drum fills sound good. I hope this helps thank you for your hard work!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, good vocals, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with the vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Wow pleasantly surprised with this song

The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Songwriting and vocals were on point and brought as much to the song as the music did. Very well made and I really did enjoy it a lot. Just wanted to give you a little feedback didn’t have anything negative to say about it at all. Thanks for your time

Demo for further work

Curious when it started. When singing began I was put off quite fast. As producer I would love to have some new takes to have improved/better singing. The arrangement too is something I'm not impressed with at all. Sorry for that. With all due respect I can't say I like this version. The song itself of course is well known with many versions, but this trial for a rock/metal-ish version in my humble opinion has not been succesfull. I think you have a demo here, that deserves some more working. Wish you succes with that.

First of all can we say let's start off on key? It's a remake and it's not a very good one of a favorite Christmas song of mine and Heather's I'm sure. It sounded like a dulcimer in the beginning but it was so out of key I couldn't tell.

Well, this is a little different than what I'm used to... Without hearing anything else that you have done, I don't know what your style or sound is. I can only assume that this is what you are going for. With that in mind, I think you have a sound that may reach a younger listener with your approach. Technically, I find the track pretty straight ahead, even if it could use a little more level mixing. The vocals come through clear for the listener to understand. I do feel this is a hard song to try and do in a more rocked out version. But, you did it and it comes through probably just like you wanted it to. So let me simply say, good job with the song. You definitely have taken this carol to a different new height in your approach. Good luck with your efforts moving forward and keep writing.

You have an an interesting ministry here hopefully encouraging the youngsters in to the Christian faith I felt like I was waiting for something to happen like up tempo and a bit more punky as the track progressed with more solid beats .. but it was like a pasta type dish where every mouthful is the same not sure where you would perform this with out encouraging people to join in. And if you did have people joining in it would become a lot more exciting .. any way keep up the good work all the best Stephen

hi outfall - i've had a listen on your track. i am multi-composer running my own publishing with a global b2b distribution. overall rating did not convince me that much. quality of recording definately is not the best. either way you can compensate it by great vocals or songidea. but even here it still has room for improvement. depending on what your goals are - guess it's not ready to reach a larger audience. either way, music is a learning curve - wish you best of luck.

It’s a wonderful life in acid. There’s no rules that says you can make your own interpretation of such a carol it’s legendary song. It probably wouldn’t matter if you didn’t know the original but this personally sounds like a transmission from outer space with lots of static and interference. I’m certainly not a purist although I do live the traditional Christmas music but I feel that this is going just right over the precipice edge. I don’t think it will turn up at any church services over Christmas but you nevertheless wouldn’t be too shocked, maybe embarrassingly amused if it did
