Rocked not rolled.Got to check out these guys O-NYX because they rock out like it's supposed to be done. Working together as a team onstage and off has paid off big time. I rate them at 4 stars for over all quality as well as creativity. Believe me when I say that these guys set themselves apart unlike a lot of bands in my area, they have a unique abstract feel when I listen. Also being from a foreign nation myself, these imports got it made with the sound they got. Have a blast and turn it all the way up for these guys. Where only rock/classic rock can be defined, O-NYX has a soulful spirited sound you don't get by just picking up an instrument and jamming out. They really have captured the old feeling of rock with creativity that is much needed in within the music industry now a days. So if you ask me, I recommend this band for those who can really dig the rock/classic rock scene. Thank you all for reading and I hope that you can also enjoy O-NYX like I have. O-NYX, You rock!!!!

NiceNice First of all the beat is hot and the intro is very invitational. The hook is catchy and nice, and the lyrics are pretty good. Overall I see greatness in this song. It has potential to top the charts. Keep it up! First of all the beat is hot and the intro is very invitational. The hook is catchy and nice, and the lyrics are pretty good. Sounds greatVery good in all aspects. Song, playing, production, no weakness. If I was too offer anything, I'd prefer to to hear it break into the full band a bit sooner, but that's just me and many people may not see it as an issue. So very good all around in every way, I'll have to check out your page now and see what else you are doing.
Amateur reviewEverything is perfect with the style of the music and song in a different way. The only the thing seems the vox is a bit not synchronized with the music and if both the vox and the music is perfectly recorded, the song would be much more lively and special. Cheers!
Review of hystericalThis singer has a voice on parr with Lou Graham of Foreigner or Denis DeYoung from Styx. He holds the song together and propels the song forward. If the song has a weak spot it would be the intro and the drums which in the beginning are barely a step above click track. This could be the eq settings used or lack of reverb but there is little depth to that opening drumbeat. Once the full kit kicks in the drums do pick up depth. I might switch that part to the rim of the snare to hear the wood of the stick.
Nice vocalsvery nice vocals and love the Rhythm guitar and the drums are very well recorded and mixed. I really like the back ground vocals and the way the guitar tracks are highlighted by the different tones you are using keep it up.

A good music job without exaggeration on all levels ... a delightful song that listens again and again pleasantly ..... very radio friendly too .... your blessing I wish you the best for this song Because it's obvious that it's really a very good piece !!!!!!
Pretty coolI love to hear what you cats in France are up tooo, I like the guitar rytmens of this song and I think your singer has got a pretty good voice. I am a fan of some classic style rock and I did think what you guys do sounds pretty good keep up the good work.
sr-71 and def leppard are parental guidance for this songCool american radio sound. The chorus performance reminds to def Leppard, interesting guitar work and soli. The singer has a smooth voice and the choir is a nice advance. If you know sr-71, the main guitar hook reminds me of them. Nice work!
ClassicThe production is quite good. Everything is balanced. And being a graduated recording major I can say that with confidence. The first vibe I got form it was Van Halen thats just what this song reminded me of. It's really good guys and sounds classic rock. Love it and keep on the good work!
Hysterical is what I wasThis song, Hysterical, reminds me of a Band I used to like back in the 80's, called the Dutch ! They too had a guitar orientated sound with a pretty flamboyant Guitarist to match! I really like this song and could quite happily rock all night to it....However, as far as Hit Single material is concerned, I don't think this song is going to make it. O-Nyx's Highpoint, their guitarist, is most likely their downfall, there is just too much guitar in this song, without any accompaniment over it, no vocal, no keyboards, no percussive break. If this is the 'sound' they're looking for for their trademark sound, then all well and good, but for my ears, the mix isn't perfect for the production of a single or for good sales. The vocalist is strong and has real power, but this has been lost in the final mix down. Perhaps there's no panning on the mix, I just can't put my finger on it. The Drummer, sadly, has been subject to the same treatment. The guy behind the drums is definitely a superb drummer, who puts in plenty of dynamics to the tune, and makes the whole piece rock with energy. In short, it's a great song, oozing with power and energy, but the mix lets it down. To be honest, it makes the whole track sound a little "flat" production wise. Another part of the guitar solo that stands out is the However, the guitar solo, or beginning of it, is great, and this song is an ideal album opener.
Hysterical by O-NYXThis track is a throwback to the classic rock based commercial singles made more recently by bands like The Calling and in the past by Rainbow. A very strong lead vocal, augmented by excellent backing vocals and an extremely catchy chorus all set over a driving rhythm guitar and outstanding drum work. The drummers cymbal work on the off beat stops the track from falling into cliched predictability and a well structured bridge leads into a climactic gutsy guitar solo, that I suspect captures the band at their live best, and plays the track out. The outro guitar work had echoes of The Cult and I would love to see this band move towards a raw gutsier sound I am sure they are more than capable of achieving.
